Bush Says Marriage Is Only Man With Woman

What President Bush was possibly right

of course, we, as American citizens should show some respect to homosexuals as citizens too, but marriage is meant as a term of union between man and woman, but seriously, it doesn't mean that homosexals shouldn't marry too but if we don't have a meaning for marriage, then lots of ppl would get confused and think that marriage is always same gender or whatever but don't get me wrong.
Marriage is all about love, trust, and respect and I do believe that so if two really love eachother, whether it's hetersexuals or homosexuals, doesnt matter. I've never been to a homosexual marriage or anything like that before, and most of you already know that i'm hetersexal but what i believe here is that marriage is suppose to make two people happy about eachother and that they show love and all that but love shouldn't be confusing, that's all it counts.

love shouldn't be confusing.

What is sad is that you made this decision without witnessing the marriage of a homosexual couple.

That is like saying that chocolate ice cream sucks even though you never tasted it. :p

"then lots of ppl would get confused and think that marriage is always same gender or whatever"

wouldn't that be THEIR problem? people can learn to stop assuming that marriages is for hetrosexuals only, can they?

Bush is just sitting back to allow the supreme courts to decide the issues of homosexual marriages. I think that Bush doesn't feel qualified to purse those matters with his own administration people.

Bush has been growed up in a family where men are in charge of the households. I've been in the same thing. That's why I think that he prefers that the Supreme courts would make the decision.

Read his speech once again and try hard not to misunderstand him.

Bush said, "Marriage is only man with woman" because that is what the federal code says....Bush didn't make that sentence up.

Remember that Bush also distanced himself from the House proposal for a constitutional ban on gay marriage.

He's neutral for now. Simple.

it may very well be bush is just sitting on the sidelines but he's holding a very big stick -- he's the one who appoints supreme court justices.
