There's always the breast pump! If those ladies are concerned with doing it directly, they can always use the bottle after the breast pump!Katzie said:Cheri! Glad you can relate! I totally agree with you... just as long as the baby is being fed and being held with tender, loving and care (TLC) will do. Never mind fussing over what's to drink or not - they're both good for babies.
Vampyrox! Well, we'll never know for sure, but we can put up with stinky poops and be happy to see a happy baby with tummy happiness!
In any case, I was bottle fed and I did enjoy hitting my dad's poor lil' Irish head with my empty bottle. It's my way of saying, thank you!
Didn't you ever try your own?^Angel^ said:Hi VamPyroX ,

Figures... I wonder how many women out there have actually tasted their own breast milk. I hear that it does your body a lot better than formulas or processed milk does.^Angel^ said:no...

Their bowel movements, was not any better or worse than a baby being fed breastmilk. Trust me I know, I've changed a lot of diapers.
As for their IQ level, I strongly believe that it has a lot to do with genetics and what you eat during your pregnancy. My girls were both potty trained at 26 months (including through the night). They are now 3 years old in preschool, they are more advanced than their classmates. They can read, write, count and so much more. I guess being a stay at home mom helps.
I was formula fed because I couldn't tolerate breastmilk. I've always been thin. My sister on the other hand was breastfed for about a year, and is overweight.
It is a personal choice, all that really matters is that your baby is getting the proper nutrients and love that it needs.
