Waterrats... Colic isnot easy I agree. my sister kept on breastfeed with her three girls even tho they were colic and she knew breastfeed is good than formula. but later on she use both breastfeed and formula due of working.. i think first 6 months she did use full breastfeed then both...


colic is not only from breastfeed but their stomaches do get upset from gas/air etc. some has better sleeping pattern if you use different.. one of my neiece sleeps better if vaccum runs ( we had to put vac under the crib to keep her calm ) don't ask but it is true ! doc did suggest that to her LOL


many way. I will have to researches on colic too :)

My two kids were bottledfed... Now this 3rd baby in my probably breastfeed if I am not going to be on medications again... I couldn't do with my two kids in past due of medications ( I tend to have migraine daily and a tension headaches daily soo with them medications forget it grrr) so this time. nurse say maybe look like good chance but lets keep eye out make sure nothing else happen again.. i say yea... soo wait and see... wait till jan or dec if i find out so far that i am not on medications after birth.. if i do. i will be sigh.. oh well... husband support me no matter which way i do formula or breastfeed he say as long i am comfortable :)

:werd: Yeah, I haven't read or seen any news about babies being allergic to breastmilk. :( It must be sad if they are.

I breastfed my two boys, and will be breastfeeding my third baby. :thumb:

Once my breastmilk ceases, I'll use formula as a supplimental feeding. :D

That depends. Most women who get pregnant usually have their breast swell up because they are being filled with milk. If they breastfeed too much, it could cause their breasts to be less fuller than when it filled up. However, if a woman wears the right kind of bra... it will greatly reduce the chances of sagging.
 
i was breastfeed with my oldest daughter because she born six weeks earlier . but she is very damn smart ..... i have no problems my breastfeed but I tried to breastfeed second daughter but she wont sucker my boobs so i stopped the breastfeed and use formula milk but she threw up for four hours and it is not working boths of breastfeed and formula milk ...... so I decided use 2% percent milk ( real milk ) and it work for her and i asked my family doctor about 2% percent milk and the doctor

someone called the protective service and they stopped by my house and protective service said i cant use 2% percent milk and i told her i have been tried lots of different kind of milk and it is not working for her..... so i put 2 % percent milk and it is works for her and no problems ....... i gave the doctor s card with phone number and the protective service called the doctor about it and the doctor told me that the protective service is so stupid rule and finally the protective service lady closed our case....

phew!!!!!!!!!!! i hate when the protective service tooked away my baby and make me piss offffff..... I hate the protective service !!!!!! but i dont understand why someone told the protective service about 2% percent milk ???? it sound like someone tried to give me hard time with talk with protective service ! but i dont know who did to told protective service but i did asked the protective service who told the protective service about it ? the protective service cant tell me who did ???

when my second daughter stop using milk bottle when she was 10 months old and use a milk cups and look at my daughter and she is very good healthy and seem fine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmph i would like to throw in another fact (I am not sure if this is already settled)

there is a statistic report that bottle-fed infants tend to be overweight (10lbs overweight of the average weight) in their later years. The reason of their weight is because they are so accustomed to get bottle at any time unlikely breast-fed where the mother's breast just decide when and limit its outputs and it is the same time daily. Bottles,. you just throw them a bottle any time, any day, no constant so their bodies couldn't produce their metabolism at a steady pace as they would if being breast-fed... and it lends to a habit of overindugling themselves in the later years.

(is the walking proof here. Mom made a big mistake by switching over to bottle-fed when she had to work *i was 5monthold and she was -still is- a workalcoholic* and couldn't be home for me to breastfed... and she ended letting me drinking bottles since age 1 up to age 4.... <___< not with the forumla all way to age 4, d'oh)
 
Really to me doesnt matter ... both items can make the baby grow...some have a senstive breast that cant handle the sucking.. so there alot of reasons why they dont breast feed .. or stick with forumla...but I know breast feed is free than paying for all those forumlas.. But I used both on my boys on formula .. because im senstive with my breasts just the truth! doesnt make my children dumb...
 
:-o Well, I feed all of my 3 children formula..and They're not Dumb!
 
Years ago... They would do breast feed their baby. If they are having an allergy with their breastmilk and there is an option --goat milk.. it would work for them.
 
I bottle-fed my son till he's 1 yrs old... i can't breastfeed him since no mother to feed him.

He's so smart even without breatmilk :D
 
I fed 3 kids using by milk forumla..
How come my 3 kids are turned into SMARTER AND BRAT SMARTIES THEIR PANTS..

Doesn't matter whichever you feed by breastfeed or milk forumla .. Children are fine and normally can be "SMART" too..

Don't makes you think ur child is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo smart than milk forumla.. Cut that crap!! :nono:

Mothers who really wanted use breastfeed somehow which there have good reasons likely have not enough milk breastfeed or deyhrated or else.. Have no choice to use milk forumla only the way.. Best interest to give baby healther than starve to death.

I cannot breastfeed 3 children due my breast are deyhrated dry milk.. Only the way for me best feed by milk forumla.. oh of course expensive expense.. Important to feed my kids than think $$$ so what!

I have people asking me this "Are you going to breast feed or?" *with puppy look* Jeez... why do people ask? If I give them my answer then I'll end up being critized either way. So, I say "ehhh dunno" *fake smile* :roll:

I know exactly how you feel. It's one of those questions that can result in a bad answer either way. It's like when women ask their boyfriends, "Am I fat?" No matter what their boyfriends say, she always has something to criticize his response with.
