Bill would allow SC teachers to carry guns

Why would it be distracting? It should be concealed carry. And how would a student coerce a teacher into using the firearm?

But once the teachers have the training will they be able to shoot to kill? A teacher will need to be able to kill a mass shooter with one shot . I think it would be better to have vets in school , I would rather a war vet with gun than a teacher protecting my grandchild school . I know a vet won't have any issues with shooting to kill.

wow! one shot, one kill? that would stun even the most experienced police officers, SWAT, and Navy SEALs.

I think that would trigger PTSD.

Your thinking rationally, these people that go into and onto school grounds aren't thinking that way. Having armed teachers will do nothing to stop them and unless the teacher is an excellent shot and can kill the perpetrator with the first shot, they will probably be shot dead by the person hell bent on killing a lot of people.

PTSD is very rare for non-combat veterans.
