it's better than paying for funeral :cry: or expensive medical procedure in case this illness became a more serious one. see doctor!

people people, I've been coughing so hard for first two days so probably is why it's roughed up inside my throat - inot like I coughed up blood instantly...you know?

I just checked my temp, it's down to 101.7 - had flannel cooled me down. . . .hope it's breaking down this time heh. am too cold (had multiples of chills) right now for bath or suchlike..

sighs, time to go back to sleep for me. I shall make it through the nigh.t

[edit - question for tomorrow, may I eat plain pasta? with butter?]

Like everyone here on this thread has said, It is best to check it out with a doctor.

If you keep procrastinating, the worse you will become.

It is good to know that the fever has subsided a little but I'd keen it with caution if I were you. :)
 
thanks but apparently people here do care of themselves more than I do myself. have been on new med, ex-roomates trying to gang up on me and attacked me recetnly, jambed my finger, just moved here new apartment last weekend and ... oh I dunno.

did a lot and don't feel like doing anything right now, just something to eat or somethinf .. no worries really.
 
[hugs] freckles.. take a easy, drink more fluids, rest it well AND dont do too much around the crib. If it is worse, go to hospital, i know it is expensive but why cant your fiance to help you out? If i were him, i'm gonna to ditch my job and help you out, take care of you, watch over you, make sure that you get everything what you need, get my wholest attentions AND carry you to hospital if i have to [yea, i drive but going in, i'll carry ya].

i agree with EVERYONE go to the hospital period
i had fever of 101 and can't do anything about it so i zoomed to ER and had my throat test and turn out i had strep
and got me some medicine my hospital insurance cover it for me.

please GO!!!!!
 
Yes i agree with all of these ppl saying go to hospital s a better way to cure quickly which you havent eat or drink for more than 24 hrs, once you in hospital, the liquid drain you to feel better as well as clean out of your sickness.. ask you one question, are you allegric to pencillin shot? if your not allegric, go take it.. did you get sick alot this year? i was sick a several times in a row, one of my interpreter told me about pencillin shot so i went to doctor and got it. it s really amazed working cure me quickly in 24 hrs..

by the way, i am new to this web site.. i would like to meet all of you.. i am really clumsy around this.. smile
 
It's very dangerous fever. You must go to ER. Do you have Medicare or Medicaid cover? I hope you get well soon. I agree with AD'ers said you need go to hospital. I know it's expensive. You have to deal with it. You can get better from sick.

dear norcal, thanks for the sweet post and hugs. fiance is out of state ..to his brother's wedding. won't be back sunday.

unfortunately I'm allergic to ampencillin, yes. this is my first time sick since the illness I mentioned earlier; two years ago.

do have insurance but they don't cover most states, and this state where I am now.

I promise to go if I'm not better by time I wake up... just wanna stay cuddled up in bed and sleep.
 
Freckles, you better go to the ER in the hospital. It sounds like you are really sick with the high fever that are dangerous and you might be dehydrating and coughing up blood which does not sound normal to me. You are taking the risk if you think that you can not pay for the hospital expenses. It is better to be sorry than never. Think about your health so please go to the hospital and have the doctor look over and give you better medicine. You don't have any choice but to go to the hospital. So get busy and go. :(
 
What I have said in the other thread, feel better soon if it is getting worse, best to take the other AD'ers advice to go to the ER as soon as you can. It sounds bad if it gets worse. :hug:
 
Freckles.. dont be stubborn.. go to the hospital to have yourself checked by a doc.. I had to go as I wasnt feeling so well early last year and bam I had some form of pnemeni and some infection in the heart that was giving me trouble wit the fast heart beating and etc.. since then I have been careful not to get so sick like a lame dog... lol.. but seriously, go to the doc and get him or her to check ya over... dont be so stubborn ok? do it and ya will be glad as well...
 
I agree with everyone here. Please at least go to the ER, not matter what is the cost. It is your health that comes first. It doesn't sound too good at all. Please have yourself out asap as of right now before it gets worse. Think about it...go right now, the less your hospital bill would cost, than to wait till later, or you will be stuck with hospital bills that will go higher and higher, the more you wait. Just a hundred to several hundred dollars won't hurt, but 5,000 hospital bill would hurt lot more. Please have yourself check out before it gets too late. We all do care about you. Please do get better, and get enough rest and drink lots of fluid. At least try eat toast if you couldnt eat anything right now. You need to boost your system. But coughing a 'little' blood, you are still at risk, especially with high fever. Please, please, please do see a doctor immediately...
 
Hi, this is her Fiance.

I got texts from "Freckles" and her alldeaf.com password to tell you every one that she is in the Hospital.

I got her in Hospital by sending my firefighter friend (which is also her friend) to her home last night. She started throwing up. Not good.

She can be so stubborn at some times but she truly hates Hospital. She is a good person and do a lot for other people. So I want to say Thank You all for trying to help her.

I will try and update when I can. Please say a thoguht if you can for her. I hope she will be OK. I miss her. She is stuck at Hospital with no pager (signal for internet or emails FYI).

Awww my poor freckles friend...Future Mr Freckles im glad you got her to the hospital! thank you very much we all care for freckles very much... i hope she is getting better in the hospital and they take care of her well! please keep us updated she will be in my thoughts as well as a lot of the people here will have her in their thoughts also!

Glad Freckles in the hospital getting looked at and hopefully she will recover well, and then she will be glad as heck to have ya, her fiance to ensure she went there....
