It seems nobody is interested in talking baseball. It is my personal favorite sport to watch live (along with NBA) I get much satisfaction when chatting about anything in baseball with somebody. OK, my fav team a lot of you know are Braves. They not so hot this year, not out of the race yet, but not going to beat phillies (kills me to say that)

There are ton of good stories to follow in baseball this year and feel like the buzz and come back to me as well following multiple story lines. I am happy fo Rays to play so good and have best record in baseball at ths point. Great 4 them! For me it's Chipper Jones trying to keep from being injured so he can go for .400 avg this season. That sure would be fascinating, because Chipper has been my fav since he started in league, and he's good guy- met him in person, and he stick to same team whole career. He IS a lock for HOF latter down road. In braves situation its just injuries injuries and more injuries. Even though some of young guys have stepped in well, it leaves them with too many holes in lineup and starting pitching to make a realistic run in the NL East.

What is on your mind with thoughts of baseball right now? Who is your fav team, player. What baseball Stadiums u been to and your greatest memory at the ballpark?

:thumb: to Phillies for beat Braves last night!

on my mind abt baseball is Phillies to win World Series! cuz I am still obession with Phillies' Mitch Williams allowed HR and caused us lost at WS against Blue Jays in 1993!

I have been gone to Veteran Stadium, Citizen Bank Park, Camden Yards, RFK Stadium, and Nationals Park... my greatest memory of ballpark (Nats Park) was when Nats beat Cubs by Nievens' 2 runs walk off HR, Nats beat Rangers in very long game (15th innings and 4 hrs, 15 mins), Phillies beat Nats with Howard's 2 HR in same inning along with other few players hit HR plus Nats allowed 8 runs in 6th innings, and Nats beat Pirates in very fastest game (2 hrs and 5 mins)... Other ballpark was Manny hit 500th HR at Camden Yards against Orioles... Cant think of other great memory at Vet, CBP, and RFK...

When I was kid, I loved the New York Yankees

Australian had watched regular games or world series games?

No we don't see them down here, but I believe we do on Digtal Cable TV (Foxtel - Mind you, I do not know much about it though)

Well I do follow MLB a bit.. also do root for my favorite team Toronto Blue Jays (I remember watching them beat Atlanta in the 1992 World Series and then repeating against Philadelphia in the 1993 WS... but it was sweet to see Joe Carter hit that WS clinching homerun vs Mitch the Wild thing Williams that was on tv!!) I have been checking out other teams such as the Washington Nationals and also have an interest in how the Tampa Bay Rays (formerly Devil Rays) are doing.. I'm really impressed with how Tampa Bay been doing this season, compared with years past in which the Rays were doing so poor... I do hope TB can win the AL East or get a wild card berth... that would be great....

One other team I do follow very closer is my beloved Winnipeg Goldeyes of the Northern League, which is a minor pro league... the website for that is Northern League and ya can see the other teams beside Winnipeg.. there used to be 12 teams back in 2005 before some left for other leagues or folded... now I know the NL is trying to get an expansion team to come aboard for the 2009 season and another one maybe...

I have been to Dodger stadium, AT&T park (giants), Safeco (mariners), Coors Field (rockies) Wrigley Field, Fenway, Shea, The old Three Rivers Stadium in Pitt, and lastly and mostly Turner Field 4 BRAVES.

My best memory was two years ago in Turner watching Tim Hudson pitch and Chipper and Andrew Jones going yard in same game and Braves won. Next day got to watch Smoltz Pitch, did well, but Braves lost that game. I know Dale Murphy and that is what gravitated me toward Braves fan when I was young. It was pleasure also to get to watch Maddux and Glavine pitch many times as well. Lots of great baseball memories for me. :)

I had a baseball memory going to see the L.A. Dodgers and as usual they lost. I liked Eric Karros hehe

CUBS rawk this year! :-P i'm going to cubs vs cardinals game on saturday near clubhouse.... whoooo hooooooo can't wait. :) i'm exicted.

Way to go! Have a great time. Im so jealous. I would be more jealous though if it were Braves/Cubs matchup. My best friends team is cubbies.

yeah...I remmy Eric Karros days. He is announcer/commentator for FOX? or some other station now. How bout James Loney now?! hes awesome defense at 1st and maturing hitter. He will win gold glove one year. He made most awesome diving catch 2 nights ago. I remember Oral Hershiser and 1988 world series whoopin on the A's

geez, pls dont make me to remember that happen!! :(

Sorry Farewell65... had to remember that one... lol sorry man....

yea I know its 15 yrs from now but I still obession :(

Yeah.

Oh well, I had been too busy to watch playoffs and championships with Pattriots (16-0 and SB), Revs (MLS Cup), Bruins, Eagles (Boston College Men's Hockey NCAA Champion) and Celtics (17th titles) on TV, newspaper and pc. :P

Now, I got off from Cetlics Pride into Red Sox Nation to be cheering for next four months. GOOOO RED SOX. Let do it again!

I don't worry about Tampa Bay Rays because of Yankees and Red Sox are able to catch up anytime what they did all the years. They will wear Rays out by middle of September.

I would like to see Chicago Cubs to stay well playing all the way to World Series.

Fenway Park was my great moment even lousy hot dog and light beers with finest dieheard fans. I was 7 years old when I entered Fenway Park first time with my father and brother....ooooh Yankees team there!

Montreal Expos's Olympic Staduim was not bad with great beers and much cheap on best seat (Red Sox appz five time cost than Expos. That time, I went there with my friend to attend Cubs vs Expos while new member of Cubs, Nomar Garciaparra via traded from Red Sox. Good numbers of fans cheered Nomar there. However next night, we went to World Cup Of Hockey 2004 to attend USA vs Canada game....that what I guess many american fans from northeast coast (NYC -Boston) to attend Cubs vs Expos a night before.

Oh, Im so mad at Atlanta Braves for dealing Mark Texiera to Angels for Casey Kotchman. It doesn't help on Braves Future at all. I have seen Kotchman a lot actually when he played for AAA Salt Lake, so I am familiar with him, but this isn't Triple A in Atlanta. Its too bad because Glavine and Smoltz will be retiring soon (both on injured list at this time) and Chipper is yet another year older......whatever!

I sure hope the New York crapYankees dont make the playoffs... I dont want them to do anything there in the playoffs.. blah... as for Atlanta.. the trade was made today?? dang gonna see... I know that the trade deadline is July 31 right??

yeah, braves traded earlier today....yeah, Im not really a Yankee lover, but I like jeter

I like the Cubbies. Maybe they can drop the lovable losers nomenclature finally. I had my first visit to the "Friendly Confines" a few weeks back and had a great time. My home team is the Nats and while I like some of the players and the potential the organization has, the new Nats park is not overly impressive and the prices are ridiculous.
I am just keeping my fingers crossed that Boston and Tampa keep winning so they keep the Yankees out of the playoffs. I hate the Yankees just off of principle.
