I can vouch for Hear Again. I used to live in Milwaukee for many years from the age of 4 until I was 21, and it can get very extremely cold that no one would want to go outside at all. Going outside is like getting slapped in the face, literally. So, I would not blame Hear Again for not wanting to leave her apartment in this kind of weather. I know I wouldn't. When I lived in Milwaukee, I refused to leave the house unless it was absolutely necessary, and I rarely left the house unless it was to go to work. I stocked up on food so I would not have to go shopping very much until it got warm enough again to go outside. Now I live in Texas.
lucia,
i'm telling you, i can't WAIT to move to arizona this summer. i've had it with the cold, long winters we have here. i've got cabin fever like crazy and haven't been out for my regular 2 hour walks or spending time with my friends in a couple of weeks.
if aghori is so curious about how i spend my time, i enjoy going out with friends, spending time with my family and boyfriend, volunteering at weekly activities to help elderly residents at the apartment complex where i live, volunteering at my local deafblind center, attending DBSA support group meetings, being a cochlear americas volunteer advocate, cooking, exchanging recipes, downhill skiing, shopping, reading, writing, learning more about adaptive computers, surfing message boards related to bipolar and schizophrenia to share my experiences and encourage others, bowling, going for 2 hour walks, listening to music, collecting out of print music, collecting vintage audio equipment, watching tv documentaries, going to church every week for 2 hour services and volunteering at church when needed.
if aghori considers THAT to be a boring existence, i'd love to know what his free time consists of.
