Lesbian couple should be lucky to find other bakers in Oregon or Washington, but not case with southern states for now, so it is good opportunity to open the new bakery business when gay marriage is legal in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, etc.

OMG, that's serious conflict.

now you understand why you should be careful about what you wish for?

imagine that I'm a baker and I cannot refuse to make a cake and provide service for a Christian group to celebrate their anti-homosexuality protest.

I admire your passion for GLBT equality rights but sometimes you have gone too far where your passion has blinded you from Constitution and laws.

Ok, at first I thought this was a no-brainer for me - I don't agree with the baker but I thought he had the right to say, "No, sorry, I don't make wedding cakes for gay weddings." However, then I thought, what if he refused to make a cake for a bi-racial couple, or a muslim couple, or a couple on their second or third marriage? Hmmm ...

They would go elsewhere and someone else would make a profit.

Yup, I was upset at baker for not making the wedding cake and I hopefully lesbian couple find a place. It wasn't first time for this baker to not serve, it did happened in Iowa and Colorado that where religious bakers refused to make. After read your argument and it looks like they don't break any law.

I believe that Oregon law usually apply to buy the house, rent the apartment, bank, library, school, retail, fast food, restaurant, workplace, etc, whatever are not related to inventories/supplies/materials, such as gay couple who got denied at bank because of sex orientation, or denied to buy the house will be eligible under this law, but for wedding cake, I don't think so.

Last paragraph, no problem, I can't believe about crazy controversy and the baker got national attention, that's bigger than baker in Iowa and Colorado.

I had several customers tell me that they didn't want blacks or Mexicans in their house. I didn't take those jobs.

It is meant to be an exaggeration. But of course you probably already knew that.

Good thing I don't get a backlash... so far, I think.
