Bad News....

My dad told me last night that my mom's house blew up. The dryer was electical and it was caught on fire. It happened around 8 pm. Everyone else just got out on time and he said they are ok. My mom's fiancee', my mom and my little brother Matthew are staying at my uncle and aunt's house for a while. My other brother David is gonna be staying at my dad's house for a while also. My mom said she has insurance so she will have the house rebuild but more big rooms. They only have a few clothes but a lot of things are gone and ruined.

I am still shocked! :/
 
:shock: Wow, I'm so sorry!!! But good thing may come out of that bad situation, like bigger house maybe. Keep your chins up! :thumb:
 
OH wow is the dryer is old ??

I hope so to make look great the house to make rebuild :)
 
Good thing ur family are safe.. Its sad to see the house or things ruin. My good friend's parents house got burned up 2 times. its been hard on her. She had been hard time since she lost alots of her old pictures and high school years book etc. But all of us did have some pics, and make copies to give to her. It helps her alots. Good thing her family are fine.
 
I bet it's electric very old and have not made replace newer proprite way.

Dryer is higher fuse than oldest electric wires's limit of fuse numbers.
Cause easily fire...

Hey Girl, Hang in there, i know u showed me the pic of the house. The good thing is that everyone has gotten out safe before the fire spread. If u need to talk to me u know my SN, Im there for ya no matter what... :hug:
 
Tell your dad he might wanna get a lawyer and file a lawsuit at the dryer manufacturer company.Just like the guy drived a ford pinto 20 years ago the pinto caught fire he suffered 1st degree burns and he sued the ford motor company for 20 million dollars for punitive damages,pain and suffering and the cost of burn treatment.
 
Thank God for insurance, and thank God everyone is safe. I am sure times will be very hard for a while. Your family will be in my prayers.
 
Thanks goodness, the family is safe and that is important thing. They can always rebuild the house and bring in the old memories into a new home. :hug:
 
OHhh wow!!! I'm glad your family is safe! Odd thing is my aunt's washing machine caught on fire this morning too. But we made it in time to stop the fire. I live with my aunt so good thing she woke me up, and ask for help.

geez what a day!!! first the fire then the tornado warnings.. but nothing happened to the house.. we've had hails so will hafta check my car tomorrow. :aw:

Oh my goodness. At least your family are ok, that the main thing!! The house and others belongings are not important, your family are important. Very sorry to hear!! Dee :jaw:
 
lucky your family got out of the house quickly. That sounds like a faulty dryer or something.

Whoa Man !!! Sure glad everybody is okay.....

The house is worth nothing. It is just a house.

A family can not be replaced.

I am sure you are already looking forwards to a new house.

Insurance really helps alots.

I will keep you in my prayers during this hard time.

Im sorry to hear what happened...Im glad that everyone is alive and well...

Ive heard stories when people rebuild their house for second time tends to burn again...I hope that your mom will sued the company! :)
