Damn, Why does Germany have high volt than USA does?

It's new to me.

Yes in Europe countries have high volt than America.

I had an accident with 110 volt and 240 volt plugs... we have 110 and 240 volt plugs at US caserne where I work. Our German printer was defect so we borrow the printer from comptuer operator but she didn´t warned us that it´s US printer... I plug US printer to German outlet.. it blew up.. full air smoke .. It shock me... it was like bomb... US firemen rushed to our office. Everyone :eek3: when firemen carried US printer with smoke air... :giggle: It was happened at 10 years ago. :giggle: We have both 110 and 240 volt outlet... If we use US volt then do US outlet, not German outlet... We have to watch out where we have to plug...
 
Liebling, did you look into hacking your DVD player and converting it to a region-free player?

Yes I thought about this. We want to buy DVD/VHS player soon... I will question store about region free that I can receive from the world.
