Yes, I did. The problem was not my co-op experience, the problem was that I didn't have 2 to 3 years of constant experience.
Since my first degree was in computers and my second degree was in human resource development and business, they expected me to have 2 to 3 years of experience in either field before I can work for them. That kind of experience is something I have to work on after college before I can go there.
There are a lot of positions that I could get in some companies, but those positions are the ones that are not public. That means, you have to be working for that company to be able to get those positions. That's what my friend did when he was working for the company he's at now. He started out as a key-holder (part-time assistant manager) at the retail store, then full-time assistant manager, then store manager, then he finally got into headquarters. He's been working with that company for 10 years now.
Where I am, I hope to see what my company has to offer... then grab whatever I can get when the right time comes.
