No, but at 22, I went through several tests at Graeme Clark's (pionner of C.I) hospital several years ago and was told I am unsuitable, I wish I was baby back then lol.

I do believe in God, but I am NOT member of any religious/church, but I must admit I was religious-manic when I was little and read colorful picture bible books from my Jehovah Witness Aunty.

Can u both tell me the ages of both of your children? and what grades are they in do they go to public schools or Private schools?

They are 14, 13 (next month) and 10.

Their grades is Year 8, and Year 7, and Grade 5 in Public Schools.

Does ur husband work for a living? and do you both work for a living too? What does your husband do and yourself do as in a job?

Hubby run his own business making Air Pollution Control Equipment (like a big vacuum cleaners for factories). I am sewing machinst making air conditioner filters and filter bags for dust controller, and part-time as deaf mentor, mostly for volunteering.

You both are Cool Friends to have...

My sons Danny is 11 years old & Alan is 8 years old but we don´t have Grade here in Germany like your country.
From 1st to 10th class means is follow their ages from 6 to 16 years old.
Well, Danny´s class is 5th, will be 6th this September & Alan´s class is 2nd, will be 3rd this September in Public school.

My hubby work for "Bosch" company do with wires, parts for the cars, areoplane, etc. He works 5 days a week from 5pm to 10pm.
I work for US army caserne to handle the utilities bills & rent to pay for every appartments where american families stationed & lives around the Bavaria 5 days a week from 7.30am to 4.00pm.

Honestly, I never thought about having CI because I´m happy & sataisfed what I have. I´m not against anyone who choose themselves to have CI or hearing aid because it´s their own decision. I image to myself it would be different story when I am 10 years old but I learn about CI between 1980 & 1985 already.

Nice & interesting forum...I would say that AD is the best forum & real fun, also like AD family, I ever seen...

My favourite is to read any "New Post" to see any good threads until I saw "Do you believe God" at Alex´s thread for a first time last week... I re-read whole the posts... very interesting post over their different opinions to beleive over the Bible etc, also God... I am still typing to add his post since few days ago & going to add it soon.
Also sharing discussion, opinions & problems...

Yes, I do believe in God.
I´m Roman Catholic but I´m neutral person. I don´t need to go church but pray anywhere what I like... I also keep my wishes in my thoughts, too. I love to read the bible when I was a little girl & keep on ask nuns alot of questions I´m also interesting to collect every´s different religious opinions. Only one I have 2 bibles stories is the wedding gift from my Jehovah Witness friend. It´s lovely book & interesting to read.. I still re-read them sometimes.

Ill get back to you both for more questions....Don't worry I won't pry too much!....

Depend on my mood during weekends.
Normally I went to bed between 10 pm & 11 pm from Monday to Thursday because I have to get up at 6.15 am for go to work.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I try to look to myself… no really…
I´m happy what I am/what I have… Why should I change something for myself…?.

What was the last book/magazine have you read?
My last reading book was “Royal Duty”. I read kinds of magazines like household tips, Budget tips, cookery tips, women, handicrafts, restorations, true stories books etc at break time or bedtime.

What TV Shows can't you stand to watch?
I hate kinds of boring shows, I rather to watch movies or TV series than ALL of shows...

Honestly, I’m not crazy to play cards much but I still play cards with my sons because they love it. We play most of times on Monolopy, scrabble, chess or draught games.

OF COURSE WORLD; ONLY IF I WIN LOTTERY, only if you pray for me , if not… never mind...

It´s my dream is love to travel around Australia & also Australian islands, too for a year, of course American islands as well. I´m afraid, my dream have to wait until my children are married or out of the house... or maybe retirement at 20 years time… :Oops:
Egypt, United States of America, Republic Dom. & South Africa are my dream family vacation before my children’s age due child prices.
We are hoping to go USA Disney World.
We cancel our holiday book for go Egypt last April 04 in Nov. 03 because of financing matter on court & lawyers honor through car situation case. I’m waiting for their honor bill…
Anyway, we know we WILL go Egypt someday.

Apple pie, mixed berries crumble pie, cherry & Apple crumble pie. I love to add vanilla ice cream on it mmmh. We don’t have one here in Germany but Apple pie, so I baked them myself but I didn’t do it often because my family likes it but it’s not their favorite taste. The Apple pie is only, they loves to eat. I only do it to share with visitors instead of eat all myself.

Favorite Candy?
Quality Street, any chocolates with “Cadbury”… Those chocolate, Red Rum reminds me because I don’t have here in the store. I have to drive to a big city if I want to have one.

Beach or Mountains?
See beach quite often, I would say Mountain because its so rare for me to see it, there are some valleys around here which is not the same as snowy mountains!

It’s opposite to me because I see all is Mountains here in Germany that’s why I miss seaside sometimes. I told my husband to take us to seaside this summer (it's over around 700 km away from our home) because I need real good breathe when I see the beach for the change. That’s last beach, I visited WAS in your country in 2000/01.
