Explain your vote. :ty:

for? to live? NEITHER! I just moved from FL to CO! :)

FL doesn't have good job markets and I learnt that some people from Phoenix, AZ are leaving as well. :)

Florida receive lot of rain, terrible humid, awesome beach to see people in half-naked.

Arizona got dry air, rare rain, rare snow and great to see mountain.

Better move to AZ.

Florida-low paying jobs, too flat and there's no mountains, lot of amusement parks and water parks, lot of old folks, hurricanes

Arizona-too hot in desert region but cooler in mountains, poor education for children, high car theft in Phoenix (ranks 1st in the US), dry heat, less rain, diverse climate.

Basically...what is the most important thing you are looking for when picking Arizona over Florida?

I voted that you move to Arizona. While the summers there can be extremely hot, you don't have the humidity like you do in Florida. You also don't have hurricanes.

Coincidentally, I will be moving to Arizona this summer. I can't wait! :D

my family will leave FL in a year or two. I can move with them to AZ or stay here in FL. i am leaning towards FL...but I do not know yet.

I voted Florida! Personal Preference.

I lived/worked west of downtown Phoenix for a year. Yes it is nice to go see the big pothole north of Sedona. :giggle:

Temps over 100 degrees during the summer: I did everything at night. Too HOT outside during the day. No humidity or not, 100 degees is HOT!

Phoenix is too far from the ocean, if you enjoy the sea. You can drive to Southern California.

Phoenix gets some nasty dust storms!

Florida over Phoenix for me, cause I love the ocean. No other reason. I would go back west of Phoenix towards Sun City, if I had to leave Florida for some unkown reason to me.

Stay out of south Phoenix, BADlands!

What ever you decide, Best of Luck to you and your family.

Enjoy your journey.

Move to Arizona. Totally. I'd move there, myself (Tuscon) if I didn't have my heart set on San Diego.

Florida is a giant swamp. Filled with alligators, humidity and Mickey Mouse.

Choose AZ.

i kinda ask myself why vote on this thing? if something tell you that it is time to move. Move! that what I did.

Yes True.. If you live near Beach at Florida or Mickey Mouse then worth it.. If not then move out to Arizona. :P

They are both too hot, but if you want one of them, Florida is my vote.

I lived in El Paso a long time, and the dry heat really sucks. Literally. All the moisture right out of your body.

I'd take dry heat over the humidity any time..here in DC, our summers are sweltering, sticky, and just generally disgusting. Take a couple of steps out of your front door and in 5 minutes you feel like you need another shower. Also, wreaks havoc with my hair. Curls cannot survive in 90 percent humidity. It's just not possible. So going to the hair salon is pointless. Believe it or not, 100 degrees (with no humidity) in AZ is much more tolerable than 85 degrees here with 90 percent humidity.

Even with the hottest temps in Tuscon, my hair does great! :D I'd just need to up the sunblock...:cool2:

When we lived in El Paso, all the women who made it to 50 or so, looked like ancient dehydrated mummies.

Iowa swelters in summer too, but air conditioning is a miracle. :)
