Sacrificing security over freedom? Take a look at Obamacare ... really, stare at it.

How does healthcare guarantee your security from perceived threats? It doesn't. Usage of military and police guarantees security.

Obamacare is something else. I will leave it to you to figure out what exactly people are sacrificing for what-- and that concept belongs to an economic theory, not a political theory.

It's a political agenda rather than an economic theory.

I didn't claim anything. I gave you the Supreme Court's and U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals' rulings. The one with a pretty good grasp on laws, Constitution, and English

Are you sure you have a good grasp on laws and Constitutions? See above.

Ah... so you're putting Arizona's immigration law in same category as Obamacare? I am.. baffled :dizzy:

btw - I do not support Obamacare in case you don't remember.

Actually you are trying to claim that by deporting illegals, this is an example of how this is sacrificing security over freedom.

I would still like to see you explain how Arizona's law infringes on the rights of U.S. Citizens. I would still like a "coherent" explanation as to how it is Unconstitutional.

So far, you have been espousing left wing talking points.

actually - you need to stfu until you answer my questions and read the Supreme Court's ruling. :)

and if I'm spouting left-wing talking points, then you must be spouting right-wing talking points? and that Supreme Court and U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals are wrong?

They should be so lucky considering that Mexican immigration policies are much stricter than the United States.

Oh, gosh, the Mexican immigration laws are insane down here! But you need to remember that the Mexican immigration laws have been changed slightly before and during the Vicente Fox admin. They're still strict but insane.

My father has to re-apply for repartriation if he wants to go back to Mexico.

Enough to lid anyone as right wing or left wing, even Jiro isn't left wing since he's centrist.

Hate to say, you don't understand about AZ immigrant bill nor is Jiro's post so review again until you get it.

Mod note:

This thread has had a heated debate about immigration laws. Simple advice is to agree or disagree in a civil manner. I think it is time to lock this up to allow cool off period.

Thus being said this thread is closed. :locked:

Thanks.
