I found out from someone, the word for someone who has a fear for dolls are pediophobia.

Okay, I do admire that I do fear of any dolls look like clowns. Forbid any clown dolls in my bedroom since i was little girl. Never forgot when i see clown doll's face change alot while I was unable to sleep in the bed.
What about dolls look like animals or others than clowns? Seem fine nothing harm or scare me at all. Why *clown*. Later, I realize " clown " is meaning of hide their identify with objects or/and make up.
Look like I have minor pediophobia for clown dolls only.

i dont like clowns either

:ugh: I do not like clowns, period! Humans dressing as clowns are okay with me but I simply do not like clowns as dolls! I grew up fearing clowns and would have nightmares and wake up in a cold sweat & crying and screaming for my parents. When I did that, I would set off the flashing light alarm. This made it even worse, waking up from a bad dream, crying and then seeing the lights blinking with my parents running in the room. That was quite a scene for me to see, ever since from that time on. I despised clowns, don't laugh. I love to collect stuffed teddy bears because they're so cuddly and soft. Clowns have this "maniac" face that's forever glued. Kinda unnerving for me!! I'd watch the clowns at the corner of my eye as to make sure they don't come to life or something... just like Chucky.. :ugh: "You never know!!":laugh2:

Those porcelain dolls with batting eyes... ohhh for some reason I have a notion their tiny arms will fling out in the air and strangle me. Damn those movies I watched as a young kid and the eyes that opens and shuts when you move it up and down. It's just not right. One time, I was visiting a neighbour and she had those dolls, I was unnerved all the time. I taped the eyes shut so I would play with the dolls.

:eek2: Dolls? I have specific type of dolls that I dread. Those old porcelain dolls with glass eyes like from early 1900's. *shudders* Oh do include clowns. Clown dolls is very welcome to be tossed in the hottest furnace. Real clowns, I'll become violent if they come too close to me.. lol, i remember when i was a kid at circus, a clown came up to me and tried to get me to join him in the ring for some stupid trick, i threw drinks and cotton candy at him before he could touch me.

I don't have any irrational fear of dolls nor clowns. I once dressed up as a joker clown for Halloween, in black and silver.

It's psychological and beyond comprehension to explain to people that do not understand the fear we have to go through. I'm the type of chick that will pick up frogs, mice and all kinds of animals with my niece and nephews and yet when I see the stuffed clowns, it brings back memories as a young child. We instantly bring back the memories we regress and go bonkers when we see something we don't like with a passion. :ugh:
