Are you ready for 2009?

2009??? Hmm... it gonna be alot different than this year and last year... everything changes fast... like hd tv... new president for the white house after Bush leaves... Economics (money) are getting bad... Everything goes up now... The world is getting crazier as you thought... more technologies... everything you name it... Yeah...
 
All I'm looking forward to is....

1/20/2009...END of an 8 year nightmare! But then I have to remember it is also the 20th anniversary of Poppy Bush's inauguration. :iough:

Also 2009 marks my 20th year in the workforce including 13 years of working for the same company I currently work for. I will never forget my first job that year when I worked as a busboy at a local restaurant during HS. $3.35 an hour in 1989 was good enough to live on. Now $12.55 an hour in 2009 isnt enough to live on! That's what I am living on for 40 hours a week.
 
Yes and no. I am hopin' that the year of 2009 will bring a good one than 2008 and before that. I am keepin' an eye for weather/plagues/viruses all year round to be sure, it don't make people sick. It could be anythin' due to global warmin' ( I even don't believe " global warmin' " myself ). And, for yes I would love to see somethin' good that will come out of that year for everyone includin' me. :lol: I hope there's no civil war involved after the election is over.

And lastly, let's hope that this AD will last ! :D

Just the same as any year even in the new year of 2009. It did change a lot every year and some were history each year. I don't know who will be the president of United States in 2009. We will just have to find out in November. I am not ready for 2009 because of the economy. My husband and I worry about our budget and it is heck to survive what we live on, even if we live in the bush. We are just modern Indians and spoil by getting all the technologies that make us soft. My husband can not go out hunting for venison because he need a permit which he refuse. So I don't know what the new year will bring us. :fingersx:

I hopefully that bank and credit crisis would start relieve, also same goes to wall street and oil price wouldn't skyrocket, just my exception.

This year, 2008 has been bad for me due skyrocketing of oil price, wall street crash and crisis got worse on bank, credit and mortgage.

It ok but it is great actually Just graduate from High School. Looking forward year of 2009 :) closer to my birthday 5 days after new year day :(
 
I'm really looking forward to 2009 because I will finally have my Bachelor's degree in social work. I also plan on moving to Arizona, so it looks as if it's going to be a busy year for me. :)

I have same DVR , too. It s 80 gb hard drive. Its pictures are very clear than VHS. Can press to freeze video before breaking or getting call by phone. I never use to record VHS program.
