I don't call test cheating and creating scandal for the school system a public service, not to mention all the extra expense that will now be incurred by the schools for the investigation. So, because test scores were fiddled with, these teachers failed to teach at any other possible junction? Now that is definately dichotomous thinking.
How can anyone know what they were teaching before the cheating was revealed? All the grades for their students will now be suspect. Nothing that the teachers touched can be trusted.
What kind of public service is it to promote failing students with false grades? What kind of public service is it to bring disgrace to your school and city? What kind of public service is it to break the faith with students and parents?
