They should now build new Tesla plants in America. Build them in Detroit, Baltimore,Jacksonville and in Houston. That would add Jobs.If we do the mass production of Tesla motors the price of them will start to come down and become affordable.

I spot one brand new small electric BMW car last week, in the underground parking lot of the Japanese market/mall building. Weird body design...but looks pretty.

Many of you disagreed with me about the power of OPEC, nothing has changed since '70s. OPEC will do anything to manipulate oil related business (Even those business have nothing to do with oil like Tesla for instance) as usual and have not changed as of yet. Nobody in the world even US president has the power over oil like OPEC does. Anytime when OPEC sees competitor threatening their business, they will do anything to destroy it, this includes high fuel efficient cars, electric cars, hybrid, and so on. OPEC wants one thing... business to themselves that is all.

See what I am talking about... OPEC is the evil of all transportation business and that is what they have been. Sadly, OPEC is the most powerful cartel, far more power than drug cartels.

Yeah, currently the only one is in California. However, the problem is that Tesla's car prices are too ridiculously high so millions of us can't afford them. In average, I see a Tesla car on a street/freeway once per quarter. IMO, they are made for rich people currently just like high-end BMW, MB and others.

In other words, if they sell a lot (millions) of cars, they would build more plants elsewhere.

It's still a pretty low-volume carmaker, so its monthly numbers don't look all that impressive. Deliveries can also drop precipitously if, for example, the company has to idle its production line or decides to give the workforce a week off.

IMO, it will be successful in 5 years from now as long as they plan to lower the prices. More people buy hybrid cars like Toyota Prius and Chevy Volt because they are affordable.

If you mean the current model called the Model S, no it's a luxury car. However, they plan to build smaller cars called the Model 3. They will not be available until 2017.

LOL, I doubt that it will happen due to FAA safety law. Suppose there is an accident, you can see that it can cause many fatalities in those buildings. FAA will never allow it ever in any city.
