Not even koko has gone to bat for Steinhauer. Though perhaps I'll give him the benefit of doubt and assume he's not been following this thread. I'm sure he regrets bitterly that he voted for his god Gore.

This time, if you already know the story, is that, supposedly, friends advised the victim of a Gore sexual attack to not tell the story because doing so would cause Earth to boil over and there'd be no "savior" to help lead the Earth away from catastrophic global warming. That is, if you really believe that nonsense. I'll leave that one open ended.

This is what I received a few days ago....Whether it's true or not, celebrities and politicians know that they are in the public eye, and should do everything possible to avoid negative publicity.....then again, some feel "so powerful" and have plenty of $$, they can't get by with anything.

"Big Ben" was accused of sexual assault by several women, was not convicted, but fined and suspended from several games...Tiger Woods finally upped and admitted everything....jeez!

I do find it strange that the lady waited 4 years before reporting this, and I'm sure many of her customers have done the same thing that Gore is accused of....Giving a massage to a naked man who has been drinking?....Seems to me that the company she works for would require "2" people for each customer, to be on the safe side of things.....I would never put myself into a position like this.....At the first sign of any sexual abuse, I would pack up, and get out!
 
I have been reading up on the accusations against Gore. I was under the impression he had an affair with someone. The accusations are of a more serious nature than a mere affair. According to the police, there is no evidence strong enough bring him to court.

Since the evidence isn't strong enough and it's Gore's word against his accuser, we can not know the truth for sure until evidence turns up. All defenders are presumed guilty unless proven guilty by tradition even though the Constitution doesn't say anything explicitly. it's implicit in the 4th, 5th and 14th amendments.

It disturbs me that some people would want to do away with the legal right of being presumed innocent. If we were to get rid of people whose politics or view we don't like like even if we have no evidence, it will be nothing more than a witch hunt. Anyone can be thrown into jail with that mentality.

It is truly amazing how many witch hunts have been going on lately. That is what happens when a climate of fear is promoted. And I think we all know who relies on unreasonable fear to manipulate the masses.:cool2:
