AIM problems.....

i have no trouble with my computer but i can easy download with AIM

Disable the firewall from your router since you already have firewall program on the computer. Two firewalls cause problem with ports if setup not correct.
 
The Window Firewall right?? I think tht has been disabled somehow.. but odd why... suppose I get the Window Firewall turned on and turn off the ZA firewall would it work?? I wonder...
 
ahhhh.. no more bickering PLEASE.... i never had problems with my AIM... i use it for long long time...

Hey Sharky, that is what I have been trying to tell u abt that and right now I still have my ZoneAlarm Anti-Virus as well as firewall.....they works much better than just stupid ZoneAlarm Interenet Seructiry!!! They kept shut down my fuckie AIM too!!! same thing so finally changed it and now it works much better!! I have no plms for a long time since last Jan of this yar!!! U dont need that more of stupid shit Internet Seruirty!! But it is up to u! Just that Interenet Seriurty have caused the plms alot lately in the past with my pc all the time due to norton of course but did try that ZoneAlarm Internet Seruirty but did not work with AIM too!! So finally change to ZoneAlarm Anitviurs....as well with Firewall.....works like charm! Have not plms with it since! It was just too much stuff in one thing (ZoneAlarm Internet Seruirty: anit-virus, spyware, ...etc!! Too much!) So only two things is all I need and I do have popup block in my Avant and have also SpyBot, and Ad-Aware... that what I have right now... so far it runs better... as long as I had to be more careful that all that matter! Nothing me be that much! I am telling u truth! JUST DEPEND ON THE COMPUTER ONLY...can be different than others! That all...
 
And yeah Cheri & DM.. my AIM been on and off.. something to do with memory issue... ehh.. trying to fix the problem....will see what I can do about that or not...

It is good and simple enough. It isn't flashy like AIM 6.0 but rather very simple like AIM 5.9 without all the bloat. Since I'm a minimalist, I rather it this way. Try it out for yourself.

Well I tried to dl and install AimLite..but corrupt file.. so... I did dl the old versoin of AIM (5.5) and did have it working..but grr the memory issue came up again and again.. so best to hold till I get a new puter... and then I can get rid of ZA and put in Norton 2007 if I am buying the new puter...let's hope that will solve the problem when I get my new puter running and AIM dled and installed and etc..
