No moon walk necessary. I suggest you go to the website of the two institutes you named and find out what is necessary to be elibible to receive funding from them. You will find a listing of the GRANTS available, and the application process for a GRANT.

Yeah, you have a research background. Not.:roll: The only person that needs to moonwalk is the one that claimed a research background and then continually shows that he hasn't the slightest idea of what research entails or how it is funded.

Still can't thank Obama for opening up the Federal funding dollars into fetal cell research, can you? LOL

Thank you Obama for opening that possibility up. And not just the cure of blindness, but the cure for other dibilitating disease, as well.

Surely you have the ability to discriminate between medical research that runs billions of dollars, from a needs survey done in a community.:roll: This discussion is about medical research. I wouldn't think that it needed to be pointed out what type of research was being referred to. I guess I overestimated your ability to think with discrimination.

He outlawed federal funding, which, in effect, was outlawing the research. It had the effect of bringing it to a stop. As he knew it would.:roll: And Obama reinstituted federal funding, which allowed the research to begin again. As he knew it would.
 
Researchers were always free to create a ribbon or run a race......or both. :)

Heck they could even have a telethon......they could even pick a major holiday weekend and have a round the clock telethon.....maybe get a celebrity host.

Ah, perhaps your ignorance is showing now......you are making assumptions

I actually agree with what obama did here. It's one of the few things he got right. So, you and I actually agree on Federal funding for stem cells (although I believe there are other ways as well and that much of Federal funding needs oversight).

BUT.....twice in this thread you made inaccurate (at best) statements to support a position I agree with. That actually weakens the argument so I had to call it out. :)
