I have 7 more days left to go. I got a call from hospital today. My mom speak with nurse. They told me about my liver organ is very serious condition. It will take a heal for 3 months. :eek2: I will not able to get a new job because of surgery to get slow heal. I am disappointed. My mom suggest me to work on jewelry and sell them at online. I am working on it.

They told me it will be very strict on diet and exercise slow. I will drink a Magnesium Citrate with cherry flavor on Monday. :barf: I hate it!!! It's taste awful. I will be bad mood on Monday. I don't feel like to go AD for a while.

It's my first time to have a big organ surgery in my life. :eek2: I never experience with 7 inch long cut on skin. (nervous)

I will go to hospital for Blood Test before surgery tomorrow.
 
Oh wow, that's not fun for sure.

I had took magnesium citrate in last 10 years ago, it was clear color and clean all bowel out for non-scar operate with something that goes in my stomach or colon, can't remember about how works due early beginning of lactose intolerant and other issues in stomach, I don't like this taste, my mother warned me if I don't drink all of them then will take me to hospital to have put in my nose, I was scared and drank whole, after few hours, I went threw up and alot of bowel, that's no fun, also after midnight when before start operate then can't have food or drink, including water, very hungry and thirsty when come in hospital for surgery.

I hopefully your surgery will going be well, better than being loss in near future.

Ohh I am sorry you had to go thru. Think about this, it is lucky u got it in time before it gets worse. My husband's friend is dying of liver failure anytime, he is in ICU right now. He almost got a new liver but his other organs were failing so dr said no new liver. So follow what nurse say here, I know u are scare of it. I would too if it was me. So hang in there. Stay strong.

It happened to me last January. I got throw up a lot in the hospital. It's not help me to shallow it. I did drink so slow. I hate it when nurse force me to drink whole it. If I don't drink it. I would get a needle in nose tube with funnel. I think it's so brutal! I did drink it all. I got end and throw it up on the floor.

It's called Liver Transplant. This is hard to find it. My liver organ is fine expect adenoma spot need to remove part. Yeah, I am lucky to go there before get worse.

If happen to you then I bet you would act like 6 years old girl who got attacked at hospital and nurse put vaccine in to make serious calm down.

I did drank it at home with my mother, ugh.

I know that what nurse said. I had to accept and drank it all. It was still throw up.

Yup, I know, I was wonders about what you do if you refuse to drink it, just want know about what happen.

It was during my childhood time, I was drank it, not whole of bottle but closer about few fl oz below, in 10 years ago is when I was 10 1/2 years old, I believe that adult require drink whole of it, depends on doctor or nurse said.

Excuse me for made misunderstood about stated whole at first place.

No, just have diagnose with early beginning of lactose intolerant and other issues with stomach, it's like upper endoscopy.

I had been lactose intolerant since 1997 after major sick, I could consume the milk, ice cream, cheese or any contain milk with lactose but it cause diarrhea, I just got used with diarrhea so often time, it could be painful at few time.

Oops, yes liver transplant. He waited for it long time but now it is too late. Thank god your doctor found it in time.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Are you still have it? I had an ulcerative colitis. I can't drink milk, ice cream, cheese and Now I am getting better expect suspect spot on my liver.

That's suck to wait for long time. Just pray for him to find a new liver. Pray request is the best for healing people.

I will have an interpreter with me before surgery and recovery room. My husband is mad because he can't go with me in surgery and recovery room. He want to be with me. He have to stay in waiting room while i will be in surgery room.

I will ask to nurse if my husband can be there at recovery room to wake me up. :fingersx:
 
I went to hospital for blood test and done with paperworks for surgery plan. My husband was with me this morning. The nurse told us about my surgery will use a Laparoscopic on liver. Have you heard of that word before? It will take me stay in operation room for 3 hours. :eek2: Ohh no! I do rather to put sleep IV on before begin surgery. I told to nurse, I prefer to sleep in private unit instead of share with other patient in unit. My husband will sleep in my unit all nights until I get out of hospital.
 
Hey Foxrac, I have a question. I need to know before I start with magnesium citrate and clear liquid diet. Do you think I would be nausea when I drink magnesium citrate at home? I might will not be in mood to do fun like doing exercise, chore, go hang out with friends, take my dog for walk and etc??? I would not feel comfort to be alone at home while I am drink magnesium citrate. Please tell me about the tips before start on Monday. :ty:

It's better than open surgery to make big permanent scar and more blood loss.
