A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part III

all good! just resting and sleeping a lot. dizziness has finally subsided. my friend is ok too.

Now, it is 9 pm amd my body hurts everywhere....must have been from the 90 mins of intense tension this morning.

It's the day after the storm, and it is slick EVERYWHERE. Not my favorite way to travel, that's for sure, but hopefully some of that will be gone before long.

almost did. it was actually quite a miracle that I didn't get paralyzed when he crashed onto me and flew off my back like a ramp. my neck backbone and right shoulder blade are bruised.

the impact was pretty hard that I was stunned and everything went quiet. and then my hearing came back after several seconds.

Hate you got hurt but meant anything "south of the border" not being inured. Hope you feel better and if you have any fainting spells or black out or blurred vision go see the dr ASAP it could be a blood clot on your brain.

And one more picture from Skokie, which I needed to verify would be bright enough to see:

And I forgot about westbound Irving Park, just before rush hour:

I've turned into a Mall Walker. :o
Today I went through the food court and noticed one or two groups of mall walkers enjoying breakfast and chatting.

Getting ready for tomorrow's meeting to talk about tenant's rights, which, I might add, that this place has done a miserable job of respecting. That being said, I am saving my documents and I also downloaded and saved the building violations history to show the lawyer (IF he/she is willing to take a look at it, and see if anything can be done). If there is a case, then there's gonna be a lot of changes coming.

Wow that sound horrible , are you doing to see a chiropractor to be put back in lineament ? I am glad did not get paralyzed, I had a client that got
paralyzed just by falling on a sidewalk .

My ZTE Sonotra phone does not seem likely to be jailbroken, and I've come to realize this.

With that said, I need some advice on a good camera within a reasonable budget. I asked one person who travels internationally, and that person  because I was asking about technology stuff, which I very, very rarely do, but cameras aren't my thing, though. That is why I need some advice. I have been suggested the following:

Cannon

Sony

Panasonic

I also stopped by Target while shopping for other supplies, and I checked out the cameras there, and they  me with how expensive those were. I just want a simple camera with good quality, and easy for me to use, given how rarely I use them (almost never).

Whoa...... Wendy's today and then:

I gotta say..... I'm impressed with the renovation. This even has a fireplace in it. Now that is cool.

so my good friend is in legal trouble and we had a long talk. he got arrested for aggravated assault which was not his fault but.... you know how it is. he got in fight with a coworker at some restaurant parking lot. the coworker sustained a "mike tyson" ear injury and had to be stitched up at hospital. the injury was bad enough to require a plastic surgery. a nurse notified police. and then a detective called my friend in for his statement. and the cop decided that my friend is at fault even though it was in self-defense. he got held down by coworker's friend while getting pummeled in the face. and then he was able to move free and bit him in the ear. so he spent a nite in jail and had to pay $1,200 for bail next day. the coworker didn't want to press charge but the cop is pressing charge anyway.

I told him that he should never ever talk to police without a lawyer present in any criminal matter. he didn't know any better so oh well. he may be facing possible jail time. so I gave him a number to a fantastic lawyer I've used a long time ago for my speeding ticket. he's a miracle man.

so you guys.... whatever happens.... no matter what.... your fault or his fault... never. ever. talk. to. police. without. your. lawyer. present. no matter if a police officer was threatening you with arrest or jail time. just say NOTHING and get a lawyer. period.

Is your friend hoh ? If he is anything he said to the cops can't be used against b/c he had no lawyer with him.

he's hearing. he just didn't know any better.

doesn't matter if he had a lawyer or not... anything he said can be used against him - with or without lawyer.

Oh , I read some place if a hoh or deaf person get stopped by a cop anything they say can't be used against them . I wish I could recall where I read it but it won't help your friend. I hope the lawyer can help him, was there any other witnesses there ?

well - it's because a judge would ask if a subject was aware if the miranda's right was read to him or not. it takes a good lawyering to get your statement thrown out. it's not easy though.
