I slept most of the day due to the sinus giving me a headach
 
I learned that I will be having dinner with a friend of mine tomorrow evening before Maddie's softball game. Should be interesting.
 
I think I love the A/C guy that was here. He was the instructor of my hubby's A/C tech class. He fixed the A/C. Seems the owner's manual did not give the correct instructions for the remote and he only had to reset the remote. We have a good strong breeze of cold air blowing and the house is finally beginning to cool down. He said it would take a few hours to cool off all over, but the front room is cool enough we moved the 2 fans out of there.
 
I think my meds are finally working :D going to sleep soo good tonight!
 
Need to go phone shopping. Mine broke this morning. I'm still 4 months shy of my contract expiration, so not sure how that's going to work since I want to switch phone providers. Hmm ...

better find out how much your early termination fee will be.

and btw - broke how? you dropped it in toilet or...?

I just checked. I'm about 125 days out from expiration, so $100. (If it were 90 days or less, $50. But a month to wait if it's not working ? Erk.)

The trackball broke. It's a blackberry. I'm going after work today first to see if the trackball has a quick fix, if not, then new phone!
 
Speaking of which, was there a link on here anywhere for a deaf/data-only plan for the iphone with Verizon?

ah... then ask them to send a replacement. Do it before your contract expires so that you'll have a fully-functional, nearly-new blackberry to sell when you get a new one with different provider :)
 
Cool. Softball Coach wanted to check with the player's parents to see if they have any issues with him nominating the player for the all star team. So The coach came to my hubby asking if it's okay for our girl to be the all star team. Of course My hub says, "yes". Coach explained that the all star is more competitive and will require more practice and dedication. My hub saw coach asking other parents and was only 3 players from my girls' team. I am SO thrilled about it! My girl did not know about it yet till tomorrow for her practice day. Hopefully my girl will know about it. I know she's only 9, going to be 10 next week. :D All star player is a great experience for my girl. I hope my girl realizes how important softball is! lol
 
Thank you. I was a softball player for 10 yrs. So it's nice to see my girl who have interests in playing softball. YAY. Being an all star player is a great experience for her. I mean no matter how well she play but she likes softball. It makes me smile.

If you're using a Sprint - What you can do is go to the local store, they will pop the track ball apart and put it back together in few minutes. Good as new.

Not a hard fix. If you're handy, you can do it yourself.
 
So excited.. Can't wait to move back to the country this weekend. Moving this weekend just shows that I can not last a year in the city! LOL Apartments especially!

Now, my son told me something yesterday that had me laughing so hard I almost ran off the road while driving. Just the mental picture was something else. He said: "What if under the desk for television news anchors, there was a big boxing glove stuffed and ready to go and whenever the news anchor made a blooper, somebody would flip a switch and the glove basically punched the news anchor below the belt." This was after the revelation that some news anchors (men) don't wear a full suit. They will have the shirt, tie and jacket, but be wearing shorts at times. My son is one who is full of "What if" scenarios. :laugh2:
