I like your idea! What are you thinking of -- how we donate as a forum? I'm at a loss for ideas other than via PayPal and that only came from that I know Alex accepts PP.
Maybe set up a Paypal account that is strictly for relief donations. Everyone sends something in, whatever they feel is right or what they can afford. Then when we have reached a goal or deadline for donations, Alex can then have the money transferred to a relief fund stating that the money was donated on behalf of the members of AllDeaf.com Discussion Forums or something like that. Think of it like a community service project that the group is involved in.
