I think its earwax :( I am going to the doc in an hour.

eek! that must be a hell of earwax buildup! hope it's as painless as possible!

It is, the nurse just cleaned my ear and its clean as a whistle :D

My Aunt Doodie has stayed 8 days with my sister and left this morning back to Chicago. I saw her last weekend and it was GREAT seeing her, since it was a long time since we met. She is Mom's sister, and they met almost every day while my aunt was in town, and I could see how close they were by their conversations with each other, the giggles and laughter and tears. Yesterday was the last time they met, and they know they will probably never see each other again. I wasn't there for their last meeting, for which I am grateful. I cannot imagine what it must have felt like, a couple old ladies saying final goodbyes. :(

My son used to love having his ears flushed. He said it felt so good! His pediatrician used a WaterPik to do it.

Yeah, I have my ears cleaned & drained every 4-6 months...my head feels less "stuffy", and feels more "openess"....Imbedded ear wax or wax that doesn't form right in the ear(s) can cause infections....my doctor told me it was due to multiple surgeries, the wax stays imbedded, causing the ears to become infected......think it's a good idea to have a good ear cleaning every 6 months!
I've never used a WaterPik tho'....any water that gets into my ears, causes more infections....the doctor uses a suction machine in his office. And after a good cleaning, some people have to lay down due to the "dizziness"....so I do get a ride to the doctors office in case I won't be able to drive home.

I am getting excited for my friend to come visit me and explore all of L.A. :giggle:

I'm going to see my landlord tomorrow about my AC. It's 95 degrees inside my apt and I've tried to turn the AC all the way up. I just opened all of my windows even though I don't like bugs coming inside.

Went to a funeral today. It was at the church I had been attending. I stopped since I can't follow along with the service and they will not make any attempted to help.

Well, I was somewhat amazed. I had all kinds of people say how much they missed me at church and would I please come back. What amazed me more than anything: Now I am not prejudiced or anything like that. I am white, it was all the black people and those from Jamaica and the Bahamas that spoke to me. None of the white people or those who have known me for over 15 years. That to me was shocking.

Not surprising.

I am wondering if I could qualify for an iPhone 4 with AT&T, but not 100% sure. If I were to make the purchase, it would be AFTER Christmas.

I currently have a phone with my parent's family plan through Verizon. The VZW contract is not up until September 2011. The early termination fee would be $350 USD.

My thoughts were to purchase the iPhone and just keep the VZW phone active and when the contract expires to have my parents remove me from their family plan. Until then, the extra phone could be used as a back-up phone in case someone's goes kaput. Or would be this be silly? My portion of the phone bill each month is around $45 as I use very little voice and data, I have a limit of 1500 text messages per month.

The reason for the iPhone is because I have lost my iPod Touch. By the time I purchase a new iPod Touch, I can purchase an iPhone. I am just tired of having to keep up with 2 or 3 seperate devices if I can roll them all into one device which is space saving, time saving, and less headache for me. I want to be able to check my email both personal and student accounts on the go as well as my BlackBoard for my online classes, record lectures, make quick notes as needed, play my music, text, social messaging, some voice is needed for my contacts that do not text. I could care less about the gaming, but I want it to be functional as well as fun.

Any suggestions?

yes. save your money. get used iPod touch from ebay or wherever.

do the math and see how much you paid for both in one year. it's enough to pay for your tuition.

Yes, Kristina!....Had basically the same experience before...I feel more comfortable in a black Church than I do in a somewhat "snooty" white Church....and the sermon and of course the singing is better too...and that down-home cooking after Church!..Oh boy....
