bbbbzzzzzzzzoooooom! those last few posts just went over my head. How does one (like myself) even know where to start in learning stuff about programs or computers????
In my case, my father used to teach computer classes while I was in high school and I learned from him, on the old dinosaur computers. No CD drives or DVD drives. They used floppy disks that were 5.25 inch and 12 inch or a cassette tape at times. The monitors were mostly green and you could get amber after a while. Programs would get typed in through Basic and you got them in magazines like PC Computing. That's where I got the first edition of the Flight Simulator. Dad taught for Radio Shack and we had the TRS-80 Model I, II, III and a Tandy Color Computer. Serial numbers 4,2,8 & 3. (in order of the models) Internet was the internet, but, we had a BBS system. My father had his own BBS for writers and photographers at the time.
