I just got my medical history as far as my CI and hearing loss. It turned out that I have a history of bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss according to my records. It is nice to know more about myself.

Off to go fix dinner - back later allygators!!

It's interesting what they never tell you eh? I am still severely uneducated about my loss.

well, I never really cared that much. Then when I graduated from high school, I had all these deaf online people messenging me on the computer asking me what type of hearing I have. I told them, "I'm not sure, I never asked my audiologist, I just go in there, get my hearing aids and go out"

Then one day, I decided to ask how much percentage of hearing loss I have. So my audiologist told me that he doesn't go by percentage but go by mild, moderate, severe, profound. he told me I was severe and I accepted that answer. But the hearing aid he gave me was digital, and I kept asking him to boost it up. He told me I was a loud junky and that if I go any higher, I will have to buy a more powerful hearing aid. SOOOO... I decided that maybe he is right, I'm just a loud junky.

Then I decided to give CI a chance and I qualified but even with that, I didn't bother asking about my hearing loss level. I assume since I could hear with hearing aids, I am severe level. And recently, I decided to get a copy of my audiogram for my CI (thanks to DeafDude LOL) , and I found out I am profound.

just found this video in my comp so I uploaded it to youtube. I recorded the ride by holding up a camera :| Need to invest in helmet cam. It's the ride I did in upstate NY last fall. The rider in front of me is a friend of mine. Taught her how to ride and all.

Looks like a nice ride.

The scenery, and the lady.

the ride was so so.... Prefer some dirt here and there but then... need a pair of knobbies for that since mine are designed for 90% road, 10% dirt.

my first ride on a motorcycle was with my exbf. I wished it was with someone like my dad or somebody.

He used to get mad at me if I didn't balance my body correctly. I could help wanting to sit up straight at a turn. so it was alittle scary for me.
