I didn't have the trike at the time. Had a Honda Shadow 1100 (wife's bike looked like mine, design, color and all but was a 600.) but we had to use the school's 250cc bikes. But even if I had the trike then, the training wouldn't have been necessary as the regular driver's license here suffices...and I don't think there are any classes for trikes, specifically, because if you already know how to shift, clutch, and brake, the learning curve for operating a trike is about an hour, lol.
In SC, if you have a trike you need a trike driver's license, which is not the same as a motorcycle driver's license but it's not necessary to take the course again. The trike license is a separate test and license.

At the course TCS is taking, they have the option of either riding their own bikes or using the loaner bikes. Most people ride their own unless they don't have one yet. Guess what the two loaner bikes are? Hyosungs! They are not Hyosung GV650 like TCS has (they are smaller) but still they are Hyosung.

Is your wife tall? The reason I ask is because TCS's 650 is too big for me to hold up. I "tried on" a 250 and it was a very comfortable proportion for me. (I'm 5'3" tall.)

The Patriot Guard Riders website was hacked a few days ago. It's been down ever since. That's very disappointing. :( Why would anyone do such a thing to such an honorable organization? I have my suspicions but I don't want to say until I get more information.

oh yea that's how MSF course is. 3 days. Brutally long.
This morning was rough because TCS had to ride his bike to the base in the rain, during rush hour. Not a fun trip. Around here, every time it rains there are multiple accidents on the roads. Before he even left, I heard lots of accident reports on the radio. But he made it OK. Whew!

I get the Flag sticker but I don't understand the reason for the other one.

I'm crass and silly like this guy wearing peace button and "Born to Kill" on his helmet

No raincoat. He wore his riding jacket that is waterproof. It was hot outside, so he dried off quickly.

I have my suspicions in that direction.

it's still down. Do you know when the site went down?

update - just saw your previous post that it went down a few days ago.

just did some digging... Chicago Patriot Guard Riders got hacked too in 2006

oh and also - about the 2nd sticker pix - it's the japanese sign for "brother"

sweet God! it's 92 deg and I hate riding in that kind of weather! My tshirt is nearly soaked and hot weather makes me uppity-pissy especially in city where it's full of stop and go and long-time waiting at red light. I need to figure out how to redirect hot air from right side to bottom cuz it's blowing hot air directly at my leg.

bad for summer, good for winter

I finally got some new boots yesterday. They are Bates military boots from the Navy Exchange for $49 (no sales tax). They were on close-out sale because the Navy is switching to another style boot.

I ordered some pink laces to customize them. ;)

We got our patches sewed onto our vests.

This picture shows the front view of one vest, and the back view of the other. They are both the same.
