Cute!this is for someone who would like this bike
Our goal is to ride at least once in Rolling Thunder. Obviously we (well, I) need to work up to that distance. Thanks for the pictures Jiro .... I went to Rolling Thunder one year in DC, it was incredible.
Cool video! Crank up the computer speakers!the group is front (my friend), front-left, 2 front-left (the one with flag in back), my left, my back, and back-left.
Does anyone here do their own MC oil changes? What do you use to collect the old oil as it drains out?
The oil collecting pan that Hubby uses for our other vehicles is too tall for sliding under the bike. Is there a pan made especially for motorcycles? He improvised today but it was messy and not convenient.

Maybe, if we fall into a pile of money.ya'all can always put a bike in the trailer and drive it up to hotel. then ride it to Rolling Thunder.
Maybe, if we fall into a pile of money.
It was a very tough financial stretch just to buy the bike. We're doing what we can as finances allow.
I hope that I'm back at work this fall.ouch hmmm...... the opportunity will come...
Yes. Good eye!3rd bike from left
I have a shallow pan and an ATV/motorcycle jack that I use to change mine.
http://www2.counton2.com/cbd/news/l...uts_down_highway_17_in_mount_pleasant/136991/Mount Pleasant police and 9th Circuit Solicitor Scarlett Wilson said Tuesday that the driver who caused an accident May 11th in Mount Pleasant that killed two motorcyclists will not face criminal charges.
They said a uniform traffic citation will be issued to the driver of the SUV, Charles McDonald, for “Traveling Too Fast for Conditions.“
Wilson and a Mount Pleasant Police Department Traffic Unit investigator met Tuesday morning to disucss the case.
The collision killed James Hines and James Doucette.
A court date for McDonald on the speeding citation was set for June 16th at 8:30 am.
Attorney Lionel Lofton says his client Charles McDonald is very upset about the accident. Lofton told News 2 on Tuesday evening, “It was an accident, a traumatic experience. He’s extremely upset. He’s very sorry about what happened.“
Do any of you sew on your own patches to leather vests/jackets, or do you take them to tailors to do? If you do your own, do you have any tips you can share?
Thanks but I want to get it done locally.you know - I've always wondered about that.
*Warning - clueless opinion* I think if you have a sewing machine and proper thread - you can do it yourself.
If you prefer to have it done by professional - preferably the one who is motorcycle-oriented... I know one. She is well-known in ADV community and everybody uses her for fixing/altering/repairing motorcycle gear with custom stuff. She posts the before-after pix. It's amazing. Her price is extremely reasonable. She has specific threads & specific fabric material for specific scenario.
Her ADV name is Annie Sez? Something like that... I will look her up when I get home and I will give you the link to her thread.

I have a sewing machine but I don't know about sewing on leather thru a thick patch, in a circle. I don't want to mess up the leather.
