The Harvard Economist has made a compelling argument that the financial institutions should declare bankruptcy.

Good article to read... but McCain, Obama and Bush see different.

If the bailout is approved, they'd better use the funds to assist the economy in a growth direction, NOT for fat bank cats to stash in bank coffers!

bo8!! hey! cant you take a humor out of that huh?? Well, if that man ever comes around, we the taxpayer of USA will be loaded with tax into our rearend, heh?

The "Fat Cats" will benefit out of this plan. Not the banking industry. The banking industry are the ones who were USED AS A TOOL in order to implement THIS BAILOUT: the fat cats.

There, really, is a difference, my friend.

Please don't bother voting if you can't be bothered to research a candidate.

Those who have favored corporate bailout - wealthy welfare (minding the November elections) will have my anti vote toward them.

Weeding them out, I am.

Obama, like McCain, favored Corporate Welfare. You agree that the fat cats should remain fat? You want things to stay the same?

I don't have much idea about that, I guess that I'm more neutral on it for now.

Now the ball is in the House for them to pass it or not. Let's hope Pelosi is a little more bipartisan this time around, needing 14 or 15 more votes than last week....

700 billion here 700 billion there we're talk'n a lot of $. At least I know my congressman John J. Duncan, Jr, 2nd TN District including Knoxville (republican..ugh) is gonna vote against the bailout again Friday like he did last Monday. Makes me wish Duncan was a DEMOCRAT instead of being the Republican he is cause of his votes against Dumbya Bush. but then East Tenn is too strong republican

I hope the House turns it down.

I can't help it. I enjoy turmoil and I realize that something must be done.
