4 hours sleep and nodding off.....

hhmm... speed? :hmm:

Speed?? Heh! Heh! When Authentic was talking about 'White nights', he was talking about the time when the sun didn't set in the evenings. You can see this when you are so far up north like St. Petersburg, Russia. Alaska and other places would stay broad daylight in June to July. I see it is almost that time of the year again for Authentic as it is June now. (That is if he still is living in Russia - northern part). More on this: http://www.saint-petersburg.com/virtual-tour/whitenights.asp

I know a friend who went to Alaska with her family. They had a hard time getting a good night sleep when it was so bright outside their RV.

Wow, that's very interesting. I had no idea about this "phenomenon." I love it when I learn something new.

White Nights and Dark Days - sounds like the title of a really good song....

Pretty common if you are very far in north.. In winter, it is dark 24x7... Too depressing..

I believe that Nome, AK or other northern town in Alaska have 30 days of darkness once a year during winter time only....

We did watch the movie called "30 days of night" - It's pretty scary tho and good movie too! You should watch that movie! LMAO!!!!!!!!

Actually, August.

I believe the winner is that 3 y.o. boy who have never slept a day for 4 years straight until he had an operation recently and now can sleep.

I would say 72 hrs is the max. After that your brain starts to overload from lack of sleep and constant chemicals it has been releasing and you lose perception of reality, it's a long hard road for a "trip" I know from experience though after 3 days, you start to see and hear strange things....
