4 hours sleep and nodding off.....

um.. I'm not too sure. I can't remember. But I'm the one that likes to stay up late at night and sleep in late, but have been doing better at getting up before noon.

My doctor told me I had enlarged heart, he explained to me how I got those, he asked me question like "Do you stayed up all night" ? and "Do you sleep all day" ? and I was like yeah I did, he said that's why I got enlarged heart from stayin' up all night and sleepin' all day, he said I overworked my heart by doin' that...

I got upset, I shouldn't have stayed up all night and sleep all day! That's all I have to say! Also if you sleep onlys few hour less than 5, increased heart problem or heart attack, everyone should get at least 8 to 10 hrs of sleeps, I can onlys sleep 7 hrs due to my Sleep Apena.

I only know that enlarged heart come from extreme stress and heavy sport.

I never experience to stay wake for more than 24 hours like some of you here... :eek3:...

During parties and festival, I stay awake up to between 18 and 20 hours.

Well sometime about 2 days without sleep and I wish I get more sleep than working more hours

One time I stayed up 24 hour. I will never do that again because I love to sleep. If i don't sleep, then I would feel so crap!

What is the world record for staying awake? (Comments)
The longest recorded period for which a person has voluntarily gone without sleep is 449 hr (14 days 13 hours) by Mrs. Maureen Weston of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire in a rocking chair marathon on 14 Apr.-2 May 1977. Though she tended to hallucinate toward the end of this surely ill-advised test, she surprisingly suffered no lasting ill effects.

I cannot stay up much as 14 hours or more. I'll completed sleep already. If there is UV light for more than 24 hours, I'm sure stay awake. *shurg*

Yeah but after 6 days you start literally falling apart from the inside out.

If you read the comments as well as the articles, one girl stayed awak for 11 and a half days attempting to break the record, and after day 5 she started feeling nauseated, constant nosebleeds from high blood pressure, constant shivering, hallucinations, etc. At the end of her ordeal a paramedic forced her into sleep by giving a sedative of some type and her doctor said that her brain was very close to going into a comatose state.

I believe it. Although I am tempted to try to stay up beyond my 2.5 day record just to see if I start getting trippy from the supposed 'high' at the 36 hour mark. I may do some googling to see what I come up with.

With a name like Vampire you never heard of staying up all night and sleeping all day?

:)
No, I've never heard of having an enlarged heart due to sleeping less.

As for being a vampire, I already sleep during the day and stay awake at night. ;)

interesting.... I wud be up 20 to 24 hours I think.. but lately I can't stay up that long but depends on my moods blah

I tried to stay up all night last night, but failed. I was too tired so went to bed at 2am LOL

Guess I missed MSN, I haven't been online for a while... well, appear offline, cause there is no one to talk to - theyre idiots. (not my international friends)

Longest I went without regular sleep was about 72 hours in 2004 - with like 1 or 2 hours naps.. but hell of overtimes!! These were time during hurricane disaster recovery at my job.. Hopefully never again! I start feeling like a door after 24 hours.

A door Richard??

I dont believe I know what a door feels like. Other than you get pushed and pulled around a lot.
