You denied that you did criticize or judge our English written grammar but I see your post that you do... Example of all, you pick on our grammar and criticize Angel´s misspelling post at several weeks ago... You mocked my written grammar.... no judgement/criticize? :dunno2: I know you will say that it´s no judgement/criticize but fact statement...

FYI, we are just writin' plain english. :) Let her criticize us some more. She ain't no better than anyone.

I know why she said that, because we are not supportin' her for her opinions/point of view. That's the main reason why. It's very wrong of her to belittle others for their poor grammers.

Yes I second that.

Why should I waste my time to being upset over her arrogant posts for pick on my grammar when I know that I have a good and healthy talent and have everything what I work hard with my own hands ? Why should I care about my or anyone´s English grammar... ? Mainly important is I see them as my friends, not their English grammar or ASL language... It´s Fuzzy´s way for concern/care about her own English written grammar is most important than anything including social contacts, skill, etc. Each person is different. Oh Well...

*waving white flag* The poor lady is probably wondering what she got herself into so can we cease all the bickering in this thread? We can bicker in the threads about CIs, ASL, spoken language, and so on but this thread was created by someone needing our support. Thanks!

Yeah, I noticed she hasn't come back.....

Can you please use "end-quotes" and "starting quotes" in posts, because they become difficult to read...
s is why I, and I feel also Rick, Audiofuzzy, Neecy and other, can say something like that, but still believe sign is valuable.

Signlanguage is so "sacret" here, that any statement that can be interpreted in a negative way will be used to slap the posted on the ears.... Starting an avalanche of misinterpretation.

CIrcular... hardly, but ah well, you love those kind of remarks. Anything to put someone down.

Irony: No, there's no irony. CHinese can be very valuable.... but I have no use for it.... So, when a parent has no need for it, it's absolutely reasonable to state it can be valuable, but not use by himself.

There you go. The bolded words say it all. When a parent has no need. What about the needs of the child? Simply becuause a parent is hearing and has no need of signed comunication int heir daily life is not sufficient reasonto deny it to the child. We should be discussing what a parent can do to fulfill the child's needs, not what the parent needs. Children first, cloggy, and the inconvienience of the parents in dealing with that be damned.

Mmm yes.... let's ask the 3-year old...
Perhaps I should start Chinese with Lotte... mmm you have a point there..... We might not see the need, but that does not mean there is no need...
Good point.
Child.... good communication skills, but might need Chinese as well. There's still 3 hours that she is sleeping that could be filled with some Chinese...

Again, you have missed the point, cloggy. That would be attempting to see the child's needs from the child's perspective. You specifically stated, "so, when a parnet has no need of it". Just because a parent has no need of it, doesn't mean the child has no need of it. You are judging what is useful to another through your own idea of what is useful to you. Being able to communicate with a Chinese speaking indiviual at some point int he future is a completely different situationt than being able to communicate in your own immediate environment with full and complete receptive access.

Again... oh no!!

Did I really say parnet.... that's so unlike me....

Ah, yes.... good point.. I should learn to express myself better....

situationt..... ah well.
There are more Chinese speaking people around that don't speak NOrwegian, than deaf children that don't speak... So, Chinese might be VERY relevant...
Good point J.

So you admit at leats SOME people here have bad grammar.
That is why we have communication problem here.
Think what you like, I don't care - you couldn't support my POV even if you wanted to - because you don't get it in the first place.
