America is young and young ones make stupid mistakes. You are quoted as saying "centuries", so you must have mean before America and before Europe came about. However, if you did not mean that post your period of time you only want to be an issue next time.

America may be young but the racism isn't.

but the American history is full of racial injustice perpetuated by white people, yes?

Yes

but the American history is full of racial injustice perpetuated by black people, yes?

Excellent point...now point out where it all started

HINT: America was not even born then

huh? centuries means hundreds of years. America is a few centuries old

Playing games?

Still it is one of the last countries started (Canada also). Way younger that any Central or South American country. Also way younger that any Far East country. And they have much more of a history of racial injustice than America.

why are you still playing that silly games? isn't it time to move on?

when did settlers come to America?

thank you for proving my point - "America may be young but the racism isn't."

What's happening in America is exactly same as what's happening all over the world. There's apartheid in Africa. There's slavery and segregation in America. There's social divide in South America. noticing any pattern, yes?

Yes, I do notice a pattern that slavery and segregation were imported to America from Africa, Europe, South/Central America and the Far East.

When did settlers come to America is up for debate and depends on whom you ask (where the hell is DeafCaroline when we need her!). Regardless, there could not be but very few blacks at the time.

so are you trying to say racial injustices in America isn't that bad or something? you're jumping all over places.

no need to focus too much on usage of tense.
It makes a huge difference. If you are saying that slavery and segregation still exist in America, that's a dynamite statement that needs explaining.

explaining is not even needed when segregation and slavery were abolished a long time ago.

Then why did you bring it up as if it were a current event?

"What's happening in America is exactly same as what's happening all over the world."

racial injustice.

Yes.

What's your point?

It is alive and well and affects people of color every day in America. Example: The Sanford police dept. and the way they handled the investigation. Anpther example: white people refusing to recognize how it affects people of color on a daily basis just because whites don't experience it. Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean it doesn't affect millions of Americans.
