I don't think he will be acquited, and there is nothing to prove that there will be a riot if he is. But if he is looking for an acquital, he is going about it the wrong way by lying to the court. Doesn't say much for his story being believable.

I don't riot. Never have, never will. But what about Zimmerman lying about not having any income or assets?
Ok, no problem. I just found out about GZ receiving $204k donations via his website. Was that before or after the bond hearing?

Oh? What do you call signing a sworn statement saying you have no money and no income and are indigent when you have 204,000 dollars in the bank and are using it to pay rent and other stuff? It sure isn't telling the truth.

He set up his website after the sworn statement silly.

Not only do you lie, you also intentionally mislead.

At the time of the bond hearing, there was money in the account, and Zimmerman did not report it. That is according to Zimmerman's lawyer.

No he didn't. The money was in there at the time of the bond hearing. Not only did his family say they didn't have much money to post bond, Zimmerman was still claiming he was indigent when he wasn't. He claimed to be indigent for the bond hearing, to reduce the amount of the bond. Why would he have claimed he was indigent before he was even arrested?

How much was it at that time? I read that GZ asked his lawyer, Mark to help closing down the website and GZ told Mark that he has $204k in his Paypal account now. It didn't say how much he got before the bond hearing. Maybe it went up after the bond hearing. We have to wait and see, OK?

So if that's the case, shouldn't we have compassion?

Completely ignore it and give no response, and it will stop.

Compassion?....that's a big and long word for many members who had taken her wrath with her words and insults.....time and time again. I'm sorry, Botti. We all here at AD (at least a lot of us)....were doing fine when she left, much to our elation. It would be nice if she would just take another quiet exit. I'm sure the other site would enjoy whatever she has to say and agree with her....but she wants controversy, and if you don't agree with her, then the insults start.

If she has "mental problems" then I'm sorry!...We all have burdens to carry, but don't go around insulting people.

I don't think that he didn't say anything about that like "I don't have money or I am poor" during that hearing.

Yup, Foxrac's solution is ignore this member whatever you don't agree instead of endless debate and trolling.

Oh, he set up his website asking for donations to support his cost of living because he was hiding from angry people so he couldn't go to work. That was the original reason why he set it up.

This thread is about Alabama man beaten up so it's not about Zimmerman. It's time for us to go back to Jiro's thread and continue there.

You are right Bott. I don't know if it will stop, but I'll stop. It's not worth it.

No, Zimmerman's lawyer insisted that he close the website, and his FB account, and anything else on the net. When the lawyer was doing that, George asked him what he should do with the money. $204,000 had been donated. George has already spend about $50,000, because the lawyer said this morning George had used some of the money for rent and stuff, and there was about 150,000 left. He said, too, that George's parents only thought there was about $20,000 in there, and they didn't know if they were allowed to use it or not.

So he had money when he swore he didn't.

Good point. The poor Alabama man has been left in the dust.

Haven't seen anymore updates on him...or if they had arrested any more of those people who did this....such a horrible thing to happen to anybody...and 15-20 people on just 1 man?....A mob!...

Yep. People can be horrible. But to think this has anything to do with the Martin case is just plain silly.

NO there is NOTHING silly about this! This is outrageous and has nothing to do with justice for Trayvon! I hope everyone that was involve in the beaten get arrested and has to go to court! I blame the news media for making Trayvon murder a Black and White issue.

I had hoped it would have been locked yesterday or the day before...whenever the "new" kid decided to start flaming everyone.

AH.... the new kid flaming everyone?? really? I see flaming from many others not just the new kid. Looks like a forum mob attack to me. practice what you preach. if you dont like the new kid flaming you then you all need to stop with the flaming as well. can't have your cake and eat it.
