VamPryoX, just one correction. For text messages, Verichat does not use text messages - it uses the 'unlimited data' instead of the '300 text messages'. So you can send and receive thousands of messages if you go through Verichat. Also, there's a way to get unlimited SMS text messages on...

New BlackBerry now better than Sidekick (but more expensive)

deaflibrarian, the only way to do VCO is to use an external TTY tethered to your BlackBerry, with a Y-adaptor to a headset so that you can have a microphone (for speaking) AND a TTY (for reading) connected to the wireless device at the same time. i.e. VCO is possible on today's cellphones...

Rushabh, that is correct. Same situation goes for Hiptop/Sidekick too. The good news is that AIM is much faster using "Verichat" on BlackBerry than Sidekick/Hiptop (less than 1 second message-transmit delay)

CANADIANS: I invented a wireless relay service. Help me commercialize!

To pull off mobile VCO, it is very tricky. It requires 2 cellphones and a 3-way calling subscription, plus an external TTY tethered, or some kind of a VoIP server at home with 3-way calling with call-forwarding capability to the cellphone, so that your cellphone can "dial-into" the VoIP server...
