    Windows Vista ughhhh!

Candy, candy, candy .... There is nothing wrong with Vista itself. I have Vista Ultimate SP2 on both the workstation (32-bit) and laptop (64-bit), and it ran just fine. If you really want to, you can disable UAC, though I wouldn't recommend that.

whats causing deaf clubs to dwindle away?

Never went and never will, thank God. But I do have this Blackberry smartphone, and when I tell my hearing friends that I text msg, they all accepted that fact, and they and I still do the texting. Makes me glad to be away from the deafies. All of the friends' entries in my address book...

Roam or not to Roam on Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330

Sprint ?!?!?! Ack. I'd rather hang myself than going back to them. I've switched carriers from from Sprint to Verizon, and I haven't looked back since!

    Verbotene Liebe

Okay, has anyone ever heard of this? It's a German soap opera, which means "Forbidden Love." I only learned of this around 3 weeks ago, when I was bored so I looked through YouTube and I happened to run across the vids of a storyline in that show Verbotene Liebe. That particular...

    Byrdie Situation UPDATE!

Wow. *shakes head* Pathetic, really. I'm appalled and angry. Is he even deaf??? I remember a similar death-faking thing happened on DM a long time ago - some girl named "Bella" did this exact same thing. Just, ugh. Disgusts me far beyond time.

    Slipstreaming Windows

Uh Foxrac - that only applies if you try to slipstream XP's service packs *on* Vista. I have the slipstreamed XP Pro SP3 (that was slipstreamed on XP to begin with) installed on a Virtual PC (just to test it out, that's it), and it works fine.

I was a freshman in HS when that happened.

Interesting - I have a wireless Cisco Linksys router, and it is muy excelente (Spanish for "very excellent"). I haven't had any disconnects when using *my* VP also. :D

    When did you come out?

Haha yeah. Those friends whom I've managed to come out to just stayed friends with me (and guess what? They are all hearing!), but the deaf community in this state (not only this state, but other states also) are full of drama. They would spread nasty rumors and pick on me. I can tell you...

Vista Problem with "My Network Places"

Same with Catty; he attacked Vista also, and that turned me off. Makes no difference, really. I'm gonna drop out of this convo before I get warned - thanks a lot.

Vista Problem with "My Network Places"

Oh really? Has it occurred to you that XP have had this decaying-install issue, the one where at first you install XP, then later on it gets slower and slower and eventually you have to reinstall XP to regain lost performance? Oh wait, Vista and 7 doesn't have that. I challenge you to go to...

Vista Problem with "My Network Places"

Well, IIS is Internet Information Services, which is a web server. Every OS (except WinME, I think) has that service. Hmm a web host? Then you must have used the other computer that you used to host your web pages. Are you connecting through a network device, like a hub, switch, or router...

Vista Problem with "My Network Places"

Ha, goes to show how much YOU know! MS is about to release Vista SP2. The press has ripped Vista to shreds, possibly due to many idiotic bloggers saying that they have had many problems. To draw my own conclusions, they probably installed Vista on computers that has the minimum...

Vista Problem with "My Network Places"

Quit trolling, Catty. I have 3 computers (one of them being a server) connected to a router - and they can see each other just fine. By the way, guess what? Windows 7 is already based off from Vista; therefore, the networking subsystem in 7 is the same as in Vista (like duh?). (Oh btw, XP...
