    bra size issues?

Ok, that freaked me out...as soon as I posted, a new bra ad showed up on the side of the screen. It is really scary how the ads corresponds to what I'm doing, not only on this site, but others as well. :(

    bra size issues?

My doctor told me that the breast size actually will change often, such as when you're on your menstrual cycle. Also, very seldom do both breasts have the exact same size (same for your feet). Thus, it's really important to have a frequent professional bra fitting to purchase the right sizes...

Only for people who love fashion...

I love my "goth-y" dress that I found on clearance for only $10...it was like 85% off the original price. Haven't had the chance to wear it, though.

Are deaf kids bullied/harrassed more frequently than hearing kids in mainstream?

One kid did try to bully me, but I kicked his ass on the playground. He never messed with me again...and I got my reputation. No one bothered me. This may sound really strange, especially coming from an educator, but sometimes the best thing you can do for a kid is to teach that kid to stand...

Are deaf kids bullied/harrassed more frequently than hearing kids in mainstream?

Many deaf students in the mainstreamed setting aren't really able to speak out about what is happening to them, as they are isolated socially and language-wise. Sad.

What did you do today? Part II

Got up super early to make the traditional lunch since my husband had to work this afternoon/night...I was dead tired, had missing key ingredients, had a few mishaps in the kitchen, and only one oven...it wasn't my best meal, but I think I pulled it off. I hope he appreciates my efforts.

How can I say no to my bf?

    1. Talk with your doctor about this issue...request for preliminary labs, especially for hormone levels. Possibly depression? That's something you really need to see the doctor for. 2. Take care of YOU first and foremost...as a mother, you must be in good shape in order to carry out your...

    childcare cost

I wish I had the option of being a stay-at-home mother...I feel so guilty about working outside the home, especially when they are babies. Sigh. I don't judge mothers who want a career outside the home...it's a very personal choice. Some of us don't have the luxury of choosing, though. :(

    visual phonics

I agree, except CS isn't a mode of communication, rather just a literacy tool. Either CS or VP could be used as a bridging tool...VP is more recent, and there are much more data, research, and resources available for VP than CS...so that's something to consider. With that said, kids using...

    Thanksgiving Horror Stories!

Not sure where or who gets the credit, thus source unknown: A little boy and a little girl attended the same school and became friends. Every day they would sit together to eat their lunch. They discovered that they both brought turkey sandwiches every day! This went on all through the...

    Thanksgiving Horror Stories!

First year, the turkey caught on fire. Fire department had to come. Second year, the turkey caught on fire. The fire chief came with the others and made sure I knew I was permanently banned from ever baking a turkey in that town. *gulp* This year, I'm going to attempt it again. Don't...
