Seeking Employment in Austin

I am looking for my first job in Austin, TX. I have experience as a camp counselor but would take any job that I can get in the deaf community here (eg. filing, grocery bagging, daycare or working with animals) I am a little nervous about working in the hearing community so any help in steering me towards a supportive work environment would be helpful. Thanks
