I'm due for new ear molds on Friday and I really want to try skeleton molds.
Anyone on here with a profound loss use skeleton molds? I have to pay for my ear molds so not sure if I want to risk wasting my money on getting molds that won't be any good.
I currently have hard full shell ear molds.
Even tho you are changing the settings back to what you had originally including the fitting formula. Making sure the 0-3 is still showing stops all the beeps completely.

I know there's been a lot of complaints about people who are used to analog HAs not enjoying the start up tune on digital hearing aids.
My audiologist has got rid of mine completely on my Phonak Sky Q70 UPs.
She did it by selecting the fitting formula for 0 to 3 years and then changing all...
This guy uses a Phonak Cros with the slightly older Phonak Naida S IX (top of the range) UP HA. He doesn't seem to be around on this forum now tho.

Don't know about the Oticon but after getting the Phonak Sky (Naida) Q70 UPs, I'm now trying the Phonak Sky Q90 UPs and I've fallen in love with them. The Q90s are amazing I feel. I think you'll notice a huge difference between the Q50s and the Q90s.
Actually your Phonak Naida SP hearing aids are equal in terms of power to the Phonak Naida RIC hearing aids. The Phonak Naida UP hearing aids are more powerful.
I use part savlon or dettol with water and my silicone earmolds don't go yellow, not even a touch of yellow even after a year. They still look brand new!
Did you do your scores with your SPs? My scores went down by two thirds with SPs. They massively improved with UPs. I never understand why CI centres do the tests with SPs.
Actually that's very true. I have mine cleaned internally every 6 months and I'm always shocked as just how well they sound when they've been cleaned/checked.
I've got the ComPilot, it's good for music. I don't have it set as a remote control because it just confused the hell out of me with all the beeps etc, and as it's not set as a remote control, it means if one of my Naida UPs needed to go in for repair, I can wear my old Naida UP and the ComPilot...
Got my fingers crossed for you that the date comes around quickly and hopefully you love the new Naida Q. Will your old Naidas, be a useful back up pair?
