The Optima should help a bit. Hopefully one way or another, you and your audiologist can figure things out, make some tweaks to your maps so that you can get better battery life during the day. I'm sure it's frustrating to have to change the batteries every 5 hours.

It might be your maps that is affecting the battery life. If you have really high powered maps, they can make the battery die off sooner. Have you asked to have Optima installed onto your Harmony? Maybe that would help a bit. Definitely mention this to your audiologist, maybe he/she can make...

It will depend on your specific insurance coverage. Some will cover upgrades/new processors every 5 years, while others are at 7 years or never. You would have to check with your insurance to find out if they will cover an upgrade, and get your CI clinic involved as well.

can the Phonak Supero be programmed as Analog? I wore a Supero for a few years before getting a Naida hearing aid, it's definitely digital. The analogs I had as a younger kid were the Phonak Pico Fortes if I remember that right. first had a beige set, then a purple set.
