With AB and Cochlear implants, the magnet has to be removed, and limited to I think 1.3 or 1.5 for the MRI. and as Pauly said, MedEl's implant doesn't need the magnet removed for the minimum.

yep, definitely a hard drive failure. damn! no chances of backing up my files. grumble grumble. ah well, at least a new hard drive has been ordered and will be replaced under warranty, no charge.

yeah I never even filled up the 500gb drive that was originally in my laptop, so I really didn't need a bigger drive. I have an external, and plan on getting a new external for video purposes... yeah. computers crash and all, so it makes sense to have stuff on another drive. of course...

when I had the hard drive replaced in June, it was basically an "upgrade", 1TB drive instead of... I think it was 500gb previously (they only had 1TB drives in the shop). I dropped off my external hard drive in hopes they can back my files to it, and hopefully by tomorrow I'll hear from them on...
