I'm being lazy today, too, AC. Hub and I went to go get ice cream. I don't eat ice cream but got some Breyer's vanilla that my dad gave us a coupon for, and some coconut milk <non-dairy> ice cream, which I can have.

Thank you. :) We had a coconut shrimp appetizer, and blackened shrimp dinners. (All the shrimp is local.) I had sides of Carolina red rice and grilled asparagus stalks. TCS had sides of mac and cheese and french fries. We both had hush puppies.

:ty:Reba! so glad you had a good time and a good meal.. I love asparagus but don't eat it often. I remember first eating hush puppies when I went with my mom on a trip to Arkansas. She was involved nationally with the PTA and we traveled alot to conventions when I was in middle and high school. One of the places we went to with some of her peers in the same organization - was Arkansas. We drove from WI. I was 13 or 14. First time I had hush puppies and grits and other different things. My mom tried frog's legs - I wasn't brave enough.hehe..

My dad enjoyed his birthday meal. We went to Olive Garden and he had one of their new pot pie dishes. He loves pot pie and had enough to take home-
