I am deaf and have to refresh my memory with ASL, as I have known it all my life. However my family doesn't sign only me, and since I was forced to speak, and listen I haven't signed in a while but trying to find like-minded people of all ages to chat with! I am in US.
Hi, my name's Maja! I'm hearing, I've been learning ASL for the last few months. I would like to talk to someone to practice my sign and meet new people! (I'm a bit stressed because I still have A LOT to learn, I'm trying my best!!!)

I resurface every few years with a question or a response. For some reason, I can't find myself staying committed to this site. I think it's the same for a lot of forums though, people prefer social media. Ew.

I originally signed up in 2013 because I wanted a social life that involved the Deaf community — kind of like getting back to my roots, since I grew up in the Deaf culture — but that was not exactly successful. I think that's why I don't stick around.
