Hi guys - would it be okay if I posted a link to my latest blog entry here, about my visit to a local Deaf pub for the first time?

I'm hearing, but I'm immersing myself in the Deaf community as I learn BSL and I'm loving meeting new people - and experiencing new things like Deaf pubs!

I'd love to know what you think about Deaf pubs / clubs as well - comment and tell me what you think!

Hi Lorena - are you hearing or deaf? I'm hearing, but am really doing my best to learn as much as I can - level 2 is definitely part of the plan!
 
Hello, I am profoundly deaf and knows BSL (first lang), English (main lang), SSE, bit of Makaton as I work in SEN school and Bit of French (got D too! LOL) Right, I sound like i am a big headed LOL. Great blog, I loved the 80s too.
I live in the south coast of Blighty...

What SEN school do you work at? I live in the south coast too - in Kent. Do you ever go to the Deaf pubs?
