It's exhausting and painful - most days I am left with a migraine, which is why I buy industrial-sized boxes of earplugs. My weekends are spent in silence recuperating from what I call "hearing hangovers." Yes, I'd gladly turn the world off if I could keep my music. Sorry if that was a bit of a rant.
