My friend was upset that she is working for State.....She will get 5% pay cut of her paycheck?? Wonder it's happening to you too? :(

Oh that is awful. Well u know I work at PO, every year PO counts letters and packages then they will determine how much mails we get for our own route then they will pay us for each route so this time I get screwed over. I lost a big chunk of pay check then they add more homes for me to deliver and still too much work for me and less pay than it used to be. That is life. Hopefully next year, more people move into vacant homes then I get back to where I was before.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

But I would assume it would depend on what state you live in.
 
Hi Phillip, Are she single or married? children? What number she wrote on tax? if she write zero then tax will take lot of money.
 
She is from California. She is married and kids! :dunno2: Maybe she isnt good job?
 
In California?! I dont think that 5% pay cut as i heard. I'll ask my friends who work for State. Hold that up until i get some informations as well from my friends.

I already heard on news few months ago about cutting wages for state of California workers because state of California is flat broke.
 
my step-sister work for farm gov busniess but its good money in SouthEast Kansas
 
michigan is TOO flat broke, and i am sure state of michigan cut tax to state government workers.

i know you guys were talking about California but i am wonder if we would talk about other states as well??.
 
I talked with my friend who work for Union [SEIU 1000]. He said that, there is no 5% pay cut because it is only lukewarm to Governor to make a decision, no official announce for that. There MAY will have cut but how many percentages that will lose. He say that Cailfornia is one of richest and just trying to save up some money that we owe to. Its all about politics. Who work in State, earn as well what we have, that will apply to Governor's House [in Sacramento].

We're richer than several states' pay. we shouldnt complained. Why complained? we work and earn money to make for our living. I know it is sucks to be us but be glad that we have J-O-B!
 
pay cut = company suffering budget.

it's obvious that the company isn't doing a great job and is not pulling in clients or such things like that, the government might decide to cease the funding to the company and that results in cutting pay to employee.
 
It's true. I'm also at risk for my salary being deducted...right now it's okay, but there's a dark cloud hanging over our division. It sucks. It's not like I can go to Las Vegas and be a stripper to make up for the lost money. I'm sorry for your friend. :(
