My family is almost like that. My brother, 2 sisters, and I are all different. We're adopted.

We're blood. But it just goes to show that genetics can be very unpredictable. Most people act with disbelief when I tell them what my ethnic heritage is. Then they will see another member of my family and say,"Dang! You weren't kidding. were you?"

Actually, my ethnic background is Irish and German on my father's side, and Jewish and African American on my mother's side. How's that for a mix? I swear its the truth! Maybe DeafAstrologer meant to call me a mongrul instead of a moron! LOL.

Yep, it can get confusing. I was the only kid in Catholic school that had lox and bagels for lunch on fish Friday. I can't drink because I don't know whether to order beer, Jameson's Irish Whiskey, Mannechevitz, or Colt 45!

I just got off work an hour ago, and am getting ready to take a shower and catch some zzzz's. I try to get some pics posted later to substantiate my multi-ethnic family.

Oh, yeah. Between Christmas, Channuka, and Kwanza, we just had one big party from Thanksgiving until New Year!

The only thing we didn't celebrate was Cinqo de Mayo. But the neighbors down the street did, lol.

LOL, gotta love those turnip greens! Greens, sauerbraten, and Matzo Ball Soup. Now there's a mean! Yumm.

I'm fixing greens, ribs, and corn pudding for dinner tonight, but the Jewish part of me will have attacks of guilt for eating the pork!

As you can see, what star I was born under is the least of the deciding factors of who I am!
