I wouldn't want to live forever either.

Man, this thread reminded me of the movie "Death Becomes Her" where they got this potion to "live forever" and look what happened to those girls in the movie. LOL

I would be nice but nah. If I live forever ill be watching my family and friends die of old age until I got nothin left. Thats like a curse. So I rather pass on like everyone else.

I don't want to live forever if ravensteve will live forever... *run away*

me either, I won't live forever and would like to live just long enough to sastify me. I would probably be a squirrel hit by a car if I am a squirrel in the future. who knows though.

I wud probably live up to 100 that can possible depends on genes anyways if I lived forever I wud probably live to the day earth does explodes  no need to do that.. when I die I wud probably be a angel and scaring people out of their skin being a casper friendly i mean not so friendly ghost

I don't think it's possible to live forever, but it would be nice to live as long as you wanted to...until you became tired of living, although I can't imagine that you'd ever get to that point.

Adam and Eve should have not eat the fruit off the Tree of
Knowledge? Or is it Tree of Life and Death? I forgot...

I think the Tree of Knowledge, Eve never touch.

I don't know...
but if they have not eat the fruit from Tree of something... then
we all would have live forever, like a GOD.

Oh, too late, I can't edit my error...
or is it off topic if I post this...

In the Bible's Book of Genesis, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was the tree in the middle of the Garden of Eden from which God forbade Adam and Eve to eat. The other tree in the middle of the garden was the Tree of Life. Nothing is said in Genesis about whether or not they were permitted to eat from the tree of life, but since the Bible says "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.", we know they were allowed. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit from the tree, after being tempted by a serpent, they became knowledgeable of their sin, and were punished by God by being banished from the garden and forced to survive through agriculture "by the sweat of [their] brow". Being banished from Eden meant they would lose access to the tree of life and therefore were condemned to die. "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

There’s no way you can live forever anyway. Computer statistical simulations conducted by Roy Walford in the early 1980’s showed that the longest a person could live would be 600 years, because the statistical probability of being killed in an accident would approach certainty at that point.

"...the statistical probability of being killed in an accident would approach certainty at that point."

Ah, but that assumes we wouldn't be housed in indestructible bodies in five hundred years.

But logically, we couldn't say more than that we'd live "indefinitely". And unless we can escape to a new universe when this one closes down, we're doomed anyway. Of course we might just be too old to care by the time that happens...

Well, that’s taking it to ridiculous extremes. The term ‘living forever’ doesn’t literally mean ‘forever.’ A billion years from now, the solar system will be pretty much the same as it is today. But obviously, no human is EVER going to live a billion years—titanium body or not. And our species will be long gone before the universe itself becomes uninhabitable.
